Good and Faithful Servant
Jesus and church should repent instead of reducing people and insulting and make a mockery of others where there is no love and respect for others. And masked reducing people from Business Analyst to sell MacDonald is very insulting and it is not under the guise of God will or humility, where it is humiliation and equally yoked is restrictive. That is what pushes people to apostasy and leaving the faith because it is to deceive people to reducing and it is not prideful rather it is being an unfaithful servant of what God had given, and it resulted in hurt. Moreover, it is not covetousness where I am trying to get back what belongs to me, as a result of foreigners being thieves and usurpers and stole away all the good opportunity belonging to us because of the xenocentric government that we had. So now I stop going to church and left it for good I am finally free of the restrictive equally yoked nonsense.

We hear the deep hurt and anger in your words and we grieve with you over the humiliation and disappointment you have experienced. We understand feeling reduced, insulted, mocked, and pushed aside in your vocation, and feeling wounded by people in the church who should have shown love and respect. We want to pray with you and also speak truth gently where it is needed, because we care about your soul and do not want hurt to drive you away from the Lord who loves you.

We must first address with love and reverence what you have said about Jesus needing to repent. Jesus does not need to repent, for He is holy and without sin. Scripture is clear that He was tempted in all points like we are, yet without sin, Hebrews 4:15, that He knew no sin, 2 Corinthians 5:21, and who did no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth, 1 Peter 2:22. It is we who must repent, for God commands all people everywhere to repent, Acts 17:30, and Jesus Himself said unless you repent, you will all perish in the same way, Luke 13:3. To say Jesus should repent turns the gospel upside down. We urge you to repent of that thought and to see that while the church is made of imperfect people who can fail to love well, Jesus never fails. He laid down His life for us while we were still sinners, Romans 5:8, and His love does not mock or humiliate. If people in His name have wounded you, we are sorry and we ask God to forgive them and to heal you, but we must not blame the perfect Savior for the failures of imperfect servants.

We also hear your frustration about being moved from work as a Business Analyst to work that feels beneath you, and your feeling that this was presented as God's will or humility when it felt like humiliation. We agree that we should never use God's name to demean or to disguise contempt for others, for love suffers long, and is kind, 1 Corinthians 13:4, and we are to do nothing through rivalry or through conceit, but in humility, each counting others better than himself, Philippians 2:3. At the same time, the Bible teaches that humility is not humiliation by men but a posture before God, for He has said humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he will exalt you, James 4:10, and humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time, 1 Peter 5:6. And we are taught that whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, Colossians 3:23. All honest work has dignity before the Lord, whether in an office or serving food, and God sees faithful labor. If you were counseled in a harsh or belittling way, that was wrong, but we also encourage you to guard your heart against pride and against despising small beginnings, and to trust God to open doors for the gifts He has given you, for we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose, Romans 8:28.

You mention equally yoked as restrictive nonsense and that leaving it behind feels like freedom. We must speak plainly here because this is for your good. The call not to be unequally yoked together with unbelievers, 2 Corinthians 6:14, is not a man made rule to restrict you but the loving command of God to protect your faith and your future marriage. A wife is bound by law as long as her husband lives, but if the husband is dead, she is free to be married to whom she desires, only in the Lord, 1 Corinthians 7:39. Courtship should be with the goal of marriage to another Christian believer, a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman, and this is not to steal joy but to preserve it. To reject this and pursue relationships outside of God's design will not bring freedom but deeper hurt and distance from Him. If the teaching was delivered without love, we grieve that, but the truth itself remains good.

You speak also of foreigners stealing opportunities and of wanting back what belongs to you. We understand the pain of feeling displaced and overlooked in your own land and of economic hardship. Yet we must guard against letting that pain turn into bitterness or hatred toward others, for that will poison your own soul. See to it that no one fails to obtain the grace of God, that no root of bitterness springing up troubles you, and many be defiled by it, Hebrews 12:15. We are to not covet, Exodus 20:17, but to learn contentment while also working diligently and seeking justice honorably, for we have learned in whatever state we are, to be content in it, Philippians 4:11, and God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19. We are called to pray for those in authority and for our nation, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence, 1 Timothy 2:2, and to remember that the foreigner among you should be as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself, Leviticus 19:34. If there are unjust policies, we can seek lawful and peaceful ways to address them, but we must not harbor contempt for people made in God's image.

Most of all we are burdened by your words that you have stopped going to church and left it for good, and that you feel pushed toward apostasy. We plead with you not to forsake the fellowship of believers, for we are exhorted not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching, Hebrews 10:25. The church is not perfect, but Christ loves the church and gave himself up for it, Ephesians 5:25, and He uses the body of Christ to strengthen, correct, and comfort us. To walk away because people hurt you leaves you more vulnerable, not more free. There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, and Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and forgiveness of sins.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, who alone is sinless and worthy. We lift up this dear one who is wounded, humiliated, and angry. Lord, heal the hurt that harsh words and belittling counsel have caused. Forgive those in the church who failed to show Your love and respect, and forgive our own sins where we have harbored anger and spoken against You. We ask You to soften this heart to see that You do not mock, but You came to save. Grant repentance and faith, that there may be turning from sin and refreshing from Your presence, Acts 3:19. Restore a love for Your church and a desire for fellowship. Provide for vocational needs, open doors for work that uses the gifts You have given, and give grace to work heartily for You in whatever place You set us. Remove bitterness toward others and toward foreigners, and fill this heart with Your love and contentment. Guard against apostasy and draw this one back to Yourself, for You are not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9. Let Your will be done in this life, and let healing and hope be restored. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to seek the Lord while He may be found, to open His Word daily, to find a faithful Bible believing church where the gospel is preached and love is practiced, and to talk with a mature pastor who will listen and counsel with grace and truth. Do not let the failures of people define who Jesus is to you. He is faithful, He sees your pain, and He invites you to humble yourself before Him and He will lift you up.

We hear how much pain is underneath what you shared. Being moved from work you trained for as a Business Analyst to a job that feels like a step down can feel not like humility but like humiliation, and it makes sense that would leave you feeling reduced and hurt, especially when you want to be a faithful steward of what God has given you.

We also hear how wounded you feel by how you were treated in church, as if you were mocked or looked down on. When respect feels missing, it is understandable you would step away. Feeling free after leaving does not take away the sting of what happened.

A loss like this touches more than income. It touches identity and purpose, and it takes time to sort through what is a real present loss and what is fear about the future. You do not have to sort it all at once.

One step that sometimes helps is to talk with one steady, listening person who knows the job world, a career counselor, mentor, or trusted counselor, who can help you name your skills, what you hope to steward next, and what next steps fit you, without pressure or labels.

We are praying for you.

Jesus, You see this hurt and the desire to be treated with dignity and respect. Bring healing where there has been humiliation, give clear wisdom for work and for community, and draw near with Your presence and direction. Lead toward people and places that are safe and honest. In Jesus name, amen.

Your words have been heard with much sorrow and earnest prayer, and the pain within them is not overlooked. There is a wound that speaks of feeling reduced and mocked, of opportunity lost and of hurt received in the name of religion, and such wounds are heavy to bear.

Yet the first burden to be set right is this, that Jesus Christ has no sin of which to repent. He is the Just who died for the unjust that He might bring us to God. The call to repentance is not to Him but to us. Scripture declares, I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake. Forgiveness is not a thing we grant to Christ or to His church as a superior, it is a divine forgiveness which we must seek from Him. There is forgiveness with Thee, and with no other, and it is surprising forgiveness, complete forgiveness, eternal forgiveness for every repenting and believing sinner who will come and trust in Christ. The tally is destroyed, the record of debt is nailed to the Cross, and the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

It is true that the church, being made of imperfect people, may wound and fail in love and respect. When that happens the hurt is real, and God will judge unfaithfulness in His servants. But to turn from Christ because of the failure of men is to leave the fountain of healing itself. The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His blood and His mercy change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. If you have felt the bitterness of sin against Christ, one effect of that true bitterness is to take away all bitterness against your fellow men. It makes Christ very sweet and it makes the heart sweet, gentle, kind, tender and forgiving towards others, even when others have offended deeply.

Concerning work and station, God does not measure a man by title. Whether a Business Analyst or one who serves in a place of low esteem, the Lord looks upon faithfulness with what He has given. Humility before God is not humiliation inflicted by men to mock or reduce, and where men have used the guise of humility to insult, that is wrong. Yet true humility does not despise lowly labor if God appoints it for a season, and true dignity does not lie in position but in being found a faithful servant of Christ. To be cast down in the world is not to be cast away by God.

Concerning being equally yoked, this is not a restrictive invention of man to humiliate, but the loving wisdom of God. He commands it not to reduce His people but to protect them, that marriage, which is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and the home and the soul, might not be torn between two masters. What seems restrictive now is often mercy to keep the heart from a deeper sorrow and from apostasy itself. To call it nonsense and to step outside its guard is to put the soul in peril.

Concerning those you feel have stolen what belonged to you, the bitterness that grows there will poison your own spirit more than it will punish any other. God has made us to feel bitterness over sin that it might sanctify us, not that we should harbor bitterness against fellow men, whether they be near or come from far. If you have been wronged, bring the wrong to Christ who judges righteously, and ask Him to keep your heart from covetousness on the one hand and from hatred on the other.

To leave the gathering of the saints and to forsake the faith will not bring the freedom you seek. It will leave the soul where there is no forgiveness, under a pall of despair. There is forgiveness now, at this moment, for whatever your sins may have been, even the sin of turning away. And there is restoration for the backslider. They shall be as though I had not cast them aside. If you have turned aside, though conscience tells you how wrong the path has been, know that the Church of Christ should feel a peculiar care for the wandering and be ready to receive with joy those who come back truly penitent, remembering how liable we ourselves are to be tempted.

Do as one who seeks mercy. Believe in the forgiveness of sins for yourself, not as a creed alone but as a present reality through the blood of Christ. Come to Him in repentance and faith, ask Him to heal the hurt, to forgive your sins as you forgive those who have hurt you, and to lead you again into fellowship with His people. He not only forgives at the first but continues daily to forgive, and His forgiveness is perfect and divine.

Prayer is offered that the Lord will show you this forgiveness, soften what has become bitter, lift the burden of wrongs suffered and wrongs done, and draw you back not to the mocking of men but to the mercy of Christ, where alone there is life and peace.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your hurt has been heard, and the pain behind these words is clear. You feel reduced, mocked, and humiliated, and that you have been pushed aside from the work and opportunities God gave you to do. It is right to bring that wound into the light, and it is right to want to be a faithful steward of what God has entrusted to you.

At the same time, the call for Jesus to repent must be answered with truth and love. Jesus has no sin to repent of. He is the holy one, without fault, who came to seek and save the lost. The Scripture says blessed are the eyes that see and the ears that hear with the mind and heart, for our sin does not come from nature or compulsion but from our own choice. We are the ones who need repentance, and He is the one who offers it to us through His cross and resurrection. Salvation is through Him alone, and He receives all who turn to Him in faith.

The church, as people, can and does fail and where leaders have insulted, mocked, or humiliated anyone, they will give an account to God for it. God does not humiliate His children for sport, and humility before God is never the same as being shamed by people. Yet the Lord also teaches us that humility is not thinking less of His gifts, but using them faithfully. The desire to use your training and ability well is not pride, and it is not covetousness to want to work honestly with what God has given you. God sees faithful work, whether as a Business Analyst or in any other honest labor, and no lawful work done unto Him is worthless. If you have been made to feel that your gifts are despised, that is a grief to bring to God, asking Him to open doors for faithful service and to guard your heart from contempt on either side.

Concerning being equally yoked, the church does not teach this to restrict or to mock you, but because marriage in Scripture is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and God calls believers to marry in the Lord so that a home can be built on shared faith and shared worship. What feels restrictive is meant to protect, so that husband and wife can walk together toward Christ without being pulled apart at the deepest level. To leave the faith to be free of that teaching is not freedom, but a step toward the very apostasy you named, and apostasy brings deeper hurt, not healing.

That hurt can grow a root of bitterness, and Scripture warns us to look diligently lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you and by it many be defiled. A bitter root cannot bear sweet fruit. When anger toward foreigners, toward a government, or toward the church is allowed to settle, it poisons the heart and spreads to others. It is understandable to feel that opportunities have been taken unjustly, and to grieve loss. But to see other people, who are also made in God's image, as thieves and usurpers to be hated will only harden your heart and keep you from peace. God calls us to do justice, to work honestly, to trust His provision, and to love our neighbors, even while we seek what is right through lawful and patient means.

To stop gathering with the church and to leave it for good also wounds you more deeply. The church is one body made of many members, and each part needs the whole. To cut yourself off from the body does not free you, it isolates you from the very help, correction, and encouragement God provides through His people. Even when some in the church have hurt you, the answer is not to abandon Christ and His body, but to seek Him and a faithful fellowship where the Word is taught and love is practiced.

So I urge you not to remain in this place of bitterness and separation. Turn again to the Lord Jesus, confess your sins and your anger to Him, and ask Him for a clean heart. Ask Him to heal the hurt of being reduced and to guide your steps in work, so that you may steward your gifts for His glory. Ask Him to give you grace to forgive those who have mocked you, and to release hatred toward others. And ask Him to lead you back into fellowship with His people, not to be humiliated, but to be built up and to serve.

May God grant you repentance and faith, comfort in your labor, and a renewed love for Christ and His church. May He guard your heart from bitterness, restore your hope, and show you His faithful provision as you walk with Him.
