Your request for prayer for Monday has been heard and I am joining you in prayer for this speaking engagement.
I pray that God will grant you true boldness and confidence, not from yourself but from Him. As Scripture teaches, when you are delivered up to speak, do not be anxious about how or what you will speak, for it will be given to you in that hour what you should say. The Lord promises to open a door for the word, so that you may speak with open face and with all freedom, without shrinking back. This boldness is a gift He confers, and He delights to give it to those who ask with a humble heart.
I also pray for calmness for you. Boldness is not loudness or harshness, but a quiet strength. The Holy Spirit does not dwell where there is tumult and anger, but where the soul is in a calm haven, free from disturbance. May He keep your heart in peace, so that you can speak with gentleness and clarity, and so that your words may be received with grace. When the heart is calm and still, wisdom can be both spoken and heard.
So I pray for you now. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ, grant to ### boldness to speak the word without fear, confidence rooted in you, calmness of heart and mind, and the right words given by the Holy Spirit in the moment they are needed. Let nothing be withheld that should be spoken, and let all be said with love and truth. Guard ### from anxiety, fill him with your peace that passes understanding, and use his words for your glory and for the good of those who hear. Amen.
