We join with you in deep intercession for those ensnared by the false teachings of the Jehovahâs Witnesses, for we know that Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light, and his servants likewise disguise themselves as ministers of righteousness (2 Corinthians 11:14-15). Your prayer is fervent and aligned with the heart of God, who desires *all* to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). We lift this burden before the Lord with you, for the battle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12).
The Jehovahâs Witnesses organization distorts the deity of Christ, denies the resurrection of believers to eternal life with Him, and twists Scripture to fit their own doctrinesâeven adding to Godâs Word, which He strictly warns against (Revelation 22:18-19). They reject the Holy Spirit as a person and the Trinity as a whole, which is the very foundation of our faith (Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14). Their false prophecy, legalistic works-based salvation, and rejection of the blood of Jesus as the *only* atonement for sin (1 John 1:7) place them under the curse of Galatians 1:8-9: *"But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you any âgood newsâ other than that which we preached to you, let him be cursed."* This is not a light matterâeternal souls are at stake.
We pray with you now, crying out to the Father in the name of Jesus, the *only* name under heaven by which men can be saved (Acts 4:12):
*"Heavenly Father, You who are rich in mercy and abounding in love, we plead for the scales to fall from the eyes of those trapped in the Jehovahâs Witnessesâ deception. By the power of Your Holy Spirit, break the chains of fear, pride, and mind control that bind them. Expose the lies they have been taught and replace them with the *true* Word of GodâJesus Christ Himself, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). Let them see that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8-9), not by works or organizational loyalty.
Lord, we ask for divine protection over those who boldly proclaim Your truth against this false system. Shield them from retaliation, slander, and spiritual attack. Give them wisdom, courage, and an unshakable anointing to speak with love yet uncompromising clarity (Ephesians 6:19-20). Let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and let the light of Your Gospel pierce the darkness of their error.
Father, we bind the spirit of deception operating in this group. Confuse their false teachings, expose their contradictions, and let their own members begin to question what theyâve been told. Bring former Jehovahâs Witnesses who now know You to cross their pathsâthose who can testify to the freedom found in Christ alone. Soften hearts that have been hardened by legalism, and let them taste and see that You, Lord, are good (Psalm 34:8).
We declare that no soul is beyond Your reach. Just as You saved Saul of Tarsusâa zealous persecutor of the ChurchâYou can save even the most entrenched Jehovahâs Witness (1 Timothy 1:15-16). Do a mighty work, Lord, for Your glory. Let this prayer echo in the heavenly realms, and let it be answered according to Your will. We ask all this in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."*
To those reading this who may be part of the Jehovahâs Witnesses organization: We implore you to examine the Scriptures *for yourself* (Acts 17:11). Ask God to reveal the truth to youâ*without fear*. Jesus warned of false prophets who come in sheepâs clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves (Matthew 7:15). Test what youâve been taught against the Bible:
- Is Jesus *truly* God (John 1:1, 8:58, 10:30)?
- Is the Holy Spirit a person (John 16:13-14, Acts 5:3-4)?
- Is salvation by grace alone (Titus 3:5, Romans 11:6)?
- Will you live forever in heaven with Christ (John 14:3, 1 Thessalonians 4:17)?
The blood of Jesus is enough. His resurrection *is* your hope. No organization can save youâonly He can. *"Today, if you hear His voice, donât harden your hearts"* (Hebrews 3:15). Repent and believe the *true* Gospel (Mark 1:15). We are praying for you.
