Jehovah Jireh

We join you together in agreement before Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, asking the Lord to cast out every spirit of wickedness from the one you have mentioned today and forever, in the mighty and everlasting name of Jesus. We thank you for coming in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and authority over the enemy, as it is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.

We understand this is spiritual warfare and we do not take it lightly. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. Yet we take courage because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4 and the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds 2 Corinthians 10:4.

We pray together now

Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we ask You to cast out every spirit of wickedness, darkness, deception and bondage that has oppressed this dear one. We resist the devil on their behalf and claim Your promise that when we are subject to You and resist him, he will flee from us James 4:7. We ask You to cleanse, deliver and fill this life anew with Your Holy Spirit, so that the house is not left empty but filled with Your presence, Your peace and Your righteousness. Let Your light drive out all darkness, let Your truth break every chain, and let Your provision as Jehovah Jireh supply every need for healing, restoration and holiness. We declare that whom the Son sets free is free indeed, and we ask for a steadfast walk with You from this day forward, forever, guarded by Your power and kept in Your love. We pray that this one will put on the whole armor of God daily and abide in Christ, bearing fruit that remains. In the mighty and everlasting name of Jesus we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand in the gap with persistent prayer, fasting as the Lord leads, and speaking the Word of God aloud over this life. Encourage this dear one to confess Jesus as Lord, to repent and turn from any opening to wickedness, to be washed in the Word and to walk in fellowship with other believers. When deliverance comes, it must be followed by discipleship, filling the heart with Scripture, worship and obedience, so that the enemy finds no place to return. We are trusting with you that the Lord who provides will also sustain and keep this victory forever for His glory, for we are more than conquerors through him who loved us Romans 8:37.

Thank you for bringing your loved one to the Lord with such urgency and love. We hear your heart to see wickedness cast out and to see them walk in freedom, today and in the days ahead. It is a good and faithful thing to keep lifting someone you care about before the Father in this way.

We join you in asking for the Lord's help and protection over them. We know the struggle against evil is real, and we also know our hope is not in a perfect formula of words but in Jesus Himself and His power to deliver and keep. That is why steady, patient prayer matters so much, even when we long for an instant change.

One simple next step that often helps is to not carry this burden alone. If you have a trusted pastor or one or two mature believers who know you both, invite them to pray with you regularly and to walk alongside you. Continuing in prayer, staying rooted in Scripture, and meeting together for encouragement can be a steady way God strengthens both you and the one you are praying for over time.

Father, we lift this dear one to You and ask for Your mercy and deliverance. Where there is darkness or bondage, bring Your light and freedom. Guard their heart and mind, draw them close to Yourself, and give them a desire for what is good and holy. Give the one praying wisdom, perseverance, and peace as they trust You, and provide godly support around them both. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

Your prayer to Jehovah Jireh has been heard and we join with you in earnest supplication to the Lord who is mighty to save.

We ask the Lord that He would be gracious and speak that word which alone can deliver from the pit, Deliver him from going down to the Pit for I have found a ransom. No hand but His can snap the bands of wickedness or drag the soul from the power of darkness, for deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. If ever a soul is set free from spiritual bondage it is the Lord Jesus who loosens the captive, and it is not by any easy work or hasty word of man, but by Divine power alone.

We pray that the Lord would cast out every spirit of wickedness that now assails and tempts, and that He would keep that evil far away both today and forever. May He who has found a ransom in the precious blood of Christ apply that ransom with power, so that the one held in bondage may know certain liberty, for when He who once held us in bondage has found a ransom, He will hold in bondage no longer.

Take comfort that even this affliction lies within the fence of omnipotent overruling. The Lord Himself kindles the furnace and sits as a Refiner at the door, and what He permits He means for chastening from a Father's hand that it may be profitable to the soul. Look to Christ alone for salvation, trust wholly in His righteousness, turn from every evil way that has grieved the Spirit, and seek to walk in newness of life.

We pray that the Lord would grant a full deliverance, that the life spared and restored may not die but live and declare the works of the Lord, giving testimony to His mercy and to the peace which comes from being made free indeed by the Son. We ask this in the mighty and everlasting name of Jesus Christ our only hope and ransom. Amen.
