Jealous

Good morning everyone,

I need prayer. I need prayer desperately. The prayer that I need is for the jealousy that is eating away at me. God knows that it is a sin and I am not happy with myself.

It is a bit of a long story but never the less, this "thing" continues to gnaw away at me.

Thanks to each and every single person here, your words and prayers are PRICELESS and I am so fortunate to have so many supportive and blessed people that pray and care the way everyone does.

Lord Jesus Christ, Cheri is caught in a web of jealousy that stays with her night and day. Come to her now and help her to put away this evil which Your Word tells us rots bones (Prov 14:30) and even shortens lives . Allow Cheri to see the further evils to which jealousy leads if left unchecked: slander, hatred, damaged relations, bitterness, persecutions, and worse things. Let her dwell constantly on the motives for loving others rather than being jealous of them. Remind her of the fleeting character of all life's attachments and successes and of the fact that our true happiness lies in being united closely with You and with all others in You. I praise You for the work You are accomplishing in and through her heart. In the precious name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

Father,

Please help Cheri to resist this jealousy every time it creeps up! Help her to understand it is not from You and she must not entertain it. Lord help her to remove from her life all those activities that feed this ungodly attitude and fear. Help her to discern evil no matter how innocent it pretends to be in things like magazines and TV and some movies, sometimes even 'friends''! God I just pray You remove whatever it is that is feeding this fear in Cheri. Father I ask You also to help her (and the rest of us) understand that the betrayal and hurt we feel as the result of our jealousy is what You feel when we place so many things ahead of time with You. While You long for our devotion and worship and love, we waste time on activities that do nothing to draw us nearer to You and some that even take us further away from You. Lord I don't know the details in Cherie's case or if any of this speaks to her heart but You know exactly what's going on, so I ask that You show her how to win victory over this dangerous attitude which can ultimately rob her of that which she wants to hold on to! In Jesus' Precious Name I pray, Amen.

Heavenly Father I lift Cheri in prayer to You today. Father I pray for You to yank on Richard's heart, burden him with the need to provide for his children, Father I ask that You bring to light the truth of Richards finances, and that some one will take a stand and not allow him to live freely without child provisions.

Father I pray that the spirit of jealousness be loosed from Cheri today, Father she is an awesome prayer partner, mother, and friend, Lord show her that no matter what happens she has done and she still does the best she can for her family, and that is enough. I cover Cheri today in prayer, in Jesus name amen.
