My 17 year old son is addicted drugs. He has lost motivation and has dropped out of school.

Lord, we lift up Jared to You and know that You are greater than his problems. I pray You would deliver him from his addiction and give him good friends that don't bring him into trouble. May all the effect of the drugs be washed off him by the blood of Jesus Christ. May Jared know You and be saved. In Jesus Name. Amen

I pray, O God of hope, for this family whose lives are being torn and disrupted by drugs and addiction. I pray that in Your great mercy, You would enable them to identify the illness - strengthen them to seek help. Bless them with the power of Your love, which imparts transformation and wholeness to those who trust in Your name. Grant that as they walk this difficult road, they may journey together, closely bound to one another in family love. May Your shield and blessing be upon them as You strengthen Jared and bring him out of this addiction into new life. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.

Father, remove the veil from Jared's eyes. Help him to see the world as you see it & to see his sin as you see it. I pray you will bring him to a place of repentance. Cleanse him, Lord. Whatever void he is trying to fill, help him to realize that he can only fill it with you. I pray you will remove his addiction to drugs completely & remove the strongholds the devil has on his life. Help him to realize that his body should be treated as the temple which you created. Let him love himself like Christ loves us. I pray you will surround Jared with positive, uplifting friends. Introduce him to a life-changing mentor. Bring peace to his parents, Lord. I pray you will give them faith that you are in control. With thanks we pray, amen
