Father, I humbly come before You to plead for tolerance and respect. May You close the mouths and open the hearts of Janet's adult children; instill within them the characteristics You value in us....honesty, tolerance, forgiveness, love. Place within their minds the knowledge that the lies, gossip and slander that they spread directly block them from receiving Your kingdom. Convict their spirits of these sins, and let them forgive, forget and move on. We know You will not bless us if we allow ourselves to harbor hatred within our hearts, minds and souls. I pray that You would lift Patrick up - strengthen his resolve, nurture his spirit, accompany him on his daily walk. Through You all things are possible. We lay this at the foot of Your cross and leave it there, knowing You will pick it up and dispose of it permanently. May You bless and protect Patrick and Janet - bring them reconciliation, renewal and unconditional love. Amen.
