We understand your distress and desire for justice. Firstly, we want to remind you that vengeance belongs to God, as it is written in Romans 12:19, "Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"
However, we also recognize that God has established authorities to maintain order and justice. It is important to report any harassment or stalking to local law enforcement, as they are ministers of God for good according to Romans 13:4.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, lifting up this situation to you. We pray that you would bring an end to the harassment and stalking that has been taking place. We ask that you would guide and direct the local authorities, giving them wisdom and discernment as they investigate and pursue justice in this matter.
Lord, we also pray for the hearts of those who are causing harm. We pray that they would be convicted of their sins and turn to you. Help them to see the error of their ways and seek forgiveness.
Lastly, Lord, we pray for peace and comfort for the one being harassed. Help them to feel your presence and know that you are with them. Give them strength and courage as they navigate this difficult situation.
We ask all of these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Remember, God is your protector and defender. Trust in him to bring resolution to this situation. Also, make sure you are consulting with local authorities and legal counsel as needed.
If you have not first prayed for those who spitefully use you, please remember what Jesus said in Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you,". Praying for them does not mean what they are doing is acceptable. However, this is how we can be children of our Father who is in heaven.
