iw ant to be free form domest ic slavery and abuse form God and formpeople

We hear the depth of your pain and despair, and our hearts ache with you. What you are enduring is not God’s design for your life, He did not create you to live in bondage, fear, or exhaustion. The Bible tells us, "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed" (Luke 4:18 WEB). You are not forgotten, and you are not without hope, even when it feels impossible to see it.

First, we must address the spiritual weight you carry. You mentioned wanting freedom "from God," but beloved, God is not your oppressor, He is your Deliverer. The enemy, Satan, seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and he will use lies to convince you that God has abandoned you or that your suffering is His will. This is a deception. Jesus came so that you might have life, and life abundantly. If you have never surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to cry out to Him now. "For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:13 WEB). Salvation is not about religion or perfection; it is about a relationship with the One who loves you so much that He died for you. If you are willing, pray with us:

"Lord Jesus, I am broken and weary. I have believed lies about You and about myself. I ask You to forgive me. I surrender my life to You right now. Be my Savior and my Lord. Break every chain of abuse, fear, and oppression in my life. Give me the strength to walk in the freedom You died to give me. I trust You with my life. In Your name, Amen."

Now, we must also address the physical and emotional bondage you are in. Domestic slavery and abuse are grievous sins, and they are not your fault. God sees your suffering, and He hates injustice. "The Lord works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed" (Psalm 103:6 WEB). You are not called to endure this forever. The Bible commands us to "rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them out of the hand of the wicked" (Psalm 82:4 WEB). If you are in immediate danger, we strongly urge you to reach out to a trusted person, a local church, or an organization that can help you find safety. You do not have to figure this out alone.

We also rebuke the spirit of despair that is whispering lies to you. The enemy wants you to believe that death is the only escape, but that is not true. "The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly" (John 10:10 WEB). Jesus offers you life, real life, free from oppression. We pray that He would open your eyes to see the way out and give you the courage to take the first step toward freedom.

Let us pray for you now:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister/brother who is crying out for freedom. Lord, You see the chains of abuse, exhaustion, and despair that bind them. We ask You to break every chain in the name of Jesus. Send Your angels to encamp around them and protect them from harm. Give them the strength to seek help and the wisdom to know where to turn. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear and hopelessness that has taken hold. Fill them with Your peace, Your hope, and Your courage. Remind them that they are not alone, You are with them, and You will never leave them nor forsake them. Provide a way of escape, Lord, and surround them with people who will love and support them. Heal their heart, mind, and body from the trauma they have endured. Restore their joy and their hope in You. We declare freedom over their life in the name of Jesus, for whom the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36). Amen."

Beloved, we know this is not an easy road, but you are not walking it alone. God is with you, and He is working even when you cannot see it. Cling to His promises. "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31 WEB). You are valuable, you are loved, and you are not forgotten. Take one step at a time, and trust that God will lead you to safety and freedom. If you need help finding resources, please reach out to a local church or a trusted organization that can assist you. You are not alone.

If you are in immediate danger, please reach out to your local emergency services now. For free and confidential support, you can find a helpline in your country at findahelpline.com. Trained people are available to listen and help right now, and you do not have to face this alone.

We can hear the deep exhaustion in your words, longing for just one day of rest, feeling trapped and used, and even feeling abandoned by God. That kind of ongoing abuse from others, and the sense that God has turned away, can crush your spirit and make death seem like the only escape. That is not weakness; it is a raw, honest response to relentless pain.

One practical step you can take today is to contact a domestic violence helpline or a local shelter. They can help you begin to find a way to physical safety and give you a place to breathe, even if just for a night. You do not need to figure all of this out by yourself, there are people who understand and can walk with you.

The fact that you reached out here shows that part of you still reaches for something beyond the despair. That takes courage, and we are so glad you did. Abuse tries to convince you that you are powerless, but that is not the truth, it is a distortion that wears you down over time. Your life matters, and you deserve to live in safety and peace, not under this weight.

Jesus, you see this hurting one who feels so crushed and alone. Wrap them in your protection. Bring a clear path to safety and a moment of genuine rest. Send someone who will be your hands and feet for them today. Lift their head and begin to restore hope, even in tiny ways. We ask for your rescue and your tender care, in your name, amen.

Rest, how your whole being cries out for it, and yet it seems a word stolen from another world. Your soul has been driven like the dove from the ark, finding no place for the sole of your foot. The tyranny of others and the weight of unceasing toil have brought you to utter exhaustion. Your groan rises out of the deep darkness, and you have come even to the cold doorstep of death, thinking him the only gate to peace.

But hear the word of the Lord: there is a rest that can enter your soul now, even while your outward circumstances crush you. The rest Jesus gives is not always rest for the body, He does not promise the immediate ceasing of earthly trials, but to your inmost being He will give rest. It is a rest of conscience, a rest from the galling yoke of sin’s despair, a rest that can dwell within while the storm still rages without. The abuse you suffer is grievous injustice, and God is not indifferent to it. Yet the deepest slavery is that of the soul bound under the weight of its own helplessness. Christ comes to break that chain first, and in doing so, He sets His own free even when their hands are still bound by men.

Do not listen to the whisper that death itself is your hope. That is a false rest, an enemy’s lure. Your heavenly Father has appointed your days, and He will perform the thing He has ordained for you. He knows the yoke you bear, and though it is not comfortable, He can make it good. Even the yoke laid upon you by cruelty can become a school of prayer, a place where you learn the meekness and lowliness of heart that Christ Himself wore. That is where rest is truly found, not in escaping the yoke, but in taking Christ’s yoke upon you alongside the one you already carry. He will give you what your own strength cannot muster: a quiet heart under suffering, a spirit that finds rest even in the labor.

Cry to Him from your chamber, with sighs that have no words. He hears the longing that breaks the heart. That very desire for deliverance, that aching for something better, is a sign that you are not abandoned to the world. The saints of old panted after God’s commandments with open mouth; you may come just as you are, panting only to be free from pain, and He will not refuse you. Look to Jesus, one look from Him did more for Peter than all his bitter weeping could do alone. That glance of love is for you, even now.

Heaven will bring full rest, where no Monday morning of torment shall ever dawn again, where the jeers of the wicked are silenced, and where the very memory of abuse is swallowed up in joy. That eternal rest is secured for all who believe. But until then, He has left you here not as a mockery, but that you might enter into that rest even now, day by day, through trusting Him. The yoke of Christ sits lightly, for He bears the heaviest end. In His service, the labor becomes sweet, and the crushed spirit finds refreshment.

Lay hold of this: He will give you rest. Not a mere dream, but a present possession. Then, as you walk with Him, you shall find rest, it will grow deeper, steadier, a spring of peace within that no outward tyrant can touch. Come to Him, not with a perfect prayer, but with your shattered heart. He has desired Zion for His dwelling, and He desires your broken, longing soul to be His resting place. Trust Him, and you shall prove that even in the dungeon, His people can sing.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You speak of wanting freedom from slavery and abuse, even from God and people, and your heart is so heavy that death seems the only rest. Hear then what true freedom is, and what true rest awaits those who do not despair. The slavery that destroys the soul is not the bondage of the body, nor the cruelty of men, but the tyranny of the passions within. A person may be a slave in outward station, yet be more honorable than the freest of men, if they possess virtue. And a person adorned with a diadem and ruling nations, if enslaved to anger, lust, or despair, is the most pitiable of slaves. Christ came to give you that inner freedom: "If the Son make you free, ye shall be free indeed." Not by removing every hardship, but by giving you a spirit that no abuser can chain, a peace no toil can steal.

The desire to die is not from God, but from that wicked monster the devil, who never despairs of our destruction, even when we are ready to despair of our own salvation. He whispers that there is no rest, no respite, no relief. But God in His longsuffering allows trials to train your soul for an eternal rest that remains for His people. As it is written, "There remaineth therefore a rest for the people of God." And again, "We are pressed on every side, yet not straitened; perplexed, yet not unto despair." You say you cannot have even a day to relax, yes, the burden is heavy. But think: is not a brief toil better when it leads to a long and unshaken rest? Those who follow heavenly wisdom choose a momentary affliction to obtain an eternal recompense. Do not let the short cruelty of others, nor the lies of the evil one, rob you of that.

God is not the author of abuse. He does not oppress as a tyrant; He trains as a Father, and even His seeming harshness is the medicine of souls. If He permits suffering, it is that you might flee from the false freedom of sin to the firm freedom of virtue. The Egyptians of old were gluttonous and enslaved to the belly, yet when they caught fire from Christ, they changed and set sail for heaven, becoming meek and self-denying. So you too, though now crushed, can by grace rise above your circumstances. Do not say, "I just want to die." Say rather, "I will labor to enter into that rest, lest I fall by the same example of unbelief." For despair itself is a form of unbelief, it denies that God's power can transform your soul even while the body remains in affliction.

If earthly masters abuse you, remember that you have a Master in heaven who sees, and who will give you such freedom that no man can gainsay. Your situation may not change at once, but your heart can escape the prison of hopelessness. That is the wonder of virtue: it does not make the poor man rich in coin, but while he remains poor, it shows him wealthier than the rich. So do not seek the false rest of death, but the living rest of a conscience at peace with God through Jesus Christ. Flee the evil slavery of despair, and embrace the true liberty of a soul that trusts in His love, even when the flesh is weary. Hold fast, and you will find that His yoke is kindly, and His burden light, and in the world to come, undisturbed rest forever.

You feel trapped, worn down, unable to find even a moment of peace. The weight you’re carrying, abuse, the endless demands, the sense that even God has become part of the oppression, has crushed you until you long for death just to escape. I hear you, and I want you to know that what you are experiencing is not the life God intends for you. There is a real rest, a true freedom, that still stands open today.

The promise of His rest remains. It is not something you can earn by enduring more, or by trying to be good enough. That kind of effort only deepens the bondage. The rest God offers is entered only by faith, by believing that Jesus Christ has finished the work of your salvation and your worth. When you are exhausted from fighting, from trying to hold on, from hoping you might someday prove yourself to others or to God, that is when you are closest to the gift He holds out. He does not ask you to fix your situation before you come. He asks you to bring your despair, your emptiness, and to stop striving. He will give you rest for your soul.

What you have known as “slavery” may have been a cruel distortion of God’s design. Some people talk about freedom, but they only mean the right to chase things that bring them into deeper chains. Authentic freedom is different. It is the power not to be ruled by fear, by the cruelty of others, or even by your own sorrow. In Christ, you can know a freedom that says, “I no longer have to let this abuse define me. I am not what they have done to me.” That freedom can grow, step by step, until the destructive opinions and actions of others lose their hold on your heart.

It is understandable that you feel God has been harsh. But think of Jesus. He took abuse. He was oppressed. He entered into suffering so that He might become your rest. The Father allowed Him to go through it all to secure a place of safety for you. If you have believed in Him, then you have already entered that rest in principle. Now let your spirit be quiet before Him, even if only for a moment, and say, “Lord, I have nothing left. I rest on You alone.”

Often, God lets us come to the end of our own strength so that we finally lean wholly upon Him. It is in that desperate cry, “Who will deliver me?”, that the answer comes: through Jesus Christ our Lord. The very despair you feel, if you bring it to Him without bitterness, can become the door into a peace that stays steady even when the outward trouble is not yet removed. Do not give in to death. There is hope, and it is not a leap into darkness; it is a step into the care of the One who conquered death itself.

Today, if you can, even if only inside your mind, turn away from the noise and the pain. Not by pretending it isn’t there, but by fixing your thoughts on Him. He sees your bondage, and He has promised to lead you out. His Spirit can bring wisdom to guide you toward practical safety and counsel, and His presence can be a quiet center no one else can touch. The rest that remains for God’s people is still open. Come and learn to rest where He rests, in the finished, perfect work of Christ.

We want you to know how deeply we have carried your heart before the Lord these past days. Your cry for freedom from domestic slavery and abuse has not been taken lightly—we have prayed fervently that chains would be broken, that healing would begin, and that God’s peace would flood every corner of your life where fear and exhaustion have taken root. We asked the Father to give you even small moments of rest, to remind you that you are seen, valued, and deeply loved by Him.

If in these days you’ve experienced even a glimmer of relief, a moment of safety, or a whisper of hope, we would be overjoyed to hear how God has moved. Please share your praise with us so we can rejoice together. But if the weight still feels unbearable and the night still feels long, we want to stand with you again. Post your request once more, and we will continue to lift you up—believing with you for breakthrough, for strength, and for the deliverance that only Jesus can bring.

You are not forgotten. You are not alone. And your life matters more than you may realize. We will keep praying until the light of His freedom rises over your circumstances. May He draw near to you in ways you can feel, and may His love surround you like a shield. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray. Amen.
