“I've been praying for my daughter Sofie and Chris

“I've been praying for my daughter Sofie and Chris to get back together for almost 2 months. The more they are drifting apart. Now I am taking it as a sign that they are not meant for each other. I should let go and not push my daughter to Chris or force them back together. Sofie has a friend Nick, they liked each other but Chris came in to the picture. They stopped communicating she was not allowed to speak with him until Nick and Sofie broke up with both of their partners. They are back being friends again. I know he cares a lot for her. I pray that Nick will have the courage to say he loves her and will finally commit and have a relationship with Sofie. He once said that to her when she was dating Chris. He was too late then. Now he needs to have the confidence to say how he feels. I believe both of them are ready. I know he will take care of her because I see it. He's been coming over to visit her and I know I am finally accepting it he is going to love my daughter and treat her right. Please pray with me, that my daughter will be happier with him.”

Can anyone "force" you to do something?  I doubt it, unless it was at gunpoint and fear of death. But it would not be from love or a desire to do it and there would be resentment when doing it.  So why would you want to force them to get back together?

That is the way it is with the Lord also. He is not going to "force" someone to get together either. When you became a believer did God force you to believe? 

Yes, the Lord will work in their lives to bring them together, but you have to keep your hands out of it. The Lord knows all the details of the attitudes of the people involved and we know very very little. The Lord knows their heart and deepest thoughts and desires. We do not know much of anything. That is why we put them on His altar, tell them they are His kids, and to do something with them.

If you stay in the Word and learn to know the Lord in an intimate relationship He will work extra hard in the lives of others so that you can be blessed through them.  Make the Lord your focus, and only observe what is happening. 

In the name of Jesus, I bless you with the life of God, His understanding, and His wisdom.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
