forgiveness - from the heart is so important and fundamental in the teaching and living demonstration that Jesus gave us!..... When he called out to Father, "Father forgive them for they know not what they are doing"! ....as they nailed him to the cross, after he had already received a severe scourging that disfigured him out of all recognition as a man, this showed us how far we were also to forgive! This is so incredible! How can this be done? With Father God, all things are possible and I have found forgiveness to others for bad things that happened to me as a child. I cannot take any credit for this because I believe that dear father God who loves us so much, worked these things out in my life as I looked to him. The flip side is vital also because, if we do not forgive, then we are not forgiven, see Matthew chapter 6 verses 14 through 16! ### on a programme on 'GOD TV' recently uttered the sentiment that she dare not take the risk of messing with this, because basically, God means what he says! I am still totally amazed at Father's love for us and of his forgiveness, and am so grateful, I willingly release all that I would otherwise have held unforgiveness against and all credit to this is to the glory of Father through his son Jesus!
.........Now, "Dear father, I come to you that your good work in these two people be completed, that they can look to you freely, without hindrance from any source, and that they may both receive your gift of forgiveness, to forgive themselves and to forgive each other, and I seek restoration through the teaching of your word, and the work of your powerful hand, in Jesus holy name I ask this, Amen".
