I've been asking prayer for our son for some time now without going into much detail before now but I thought I should get his/our story out there. ~ It was 2 years ago his ex-wife (technically they are still married) took out a PFA on our son which was so lame even his lawyer laughed and said there was nothing in it to convict him on it. Well she knew that as well and decided to report some things he had looked at on his computer from his past (teenager) as an attempt to keep their daughter all to herself. (She was snooping one night while he was at work) Here in PA they take that very seriously no matter what the time frame was if it's still on there!
When the investigation started the officer said (in a letter) it could take weeks to months to finish because of such a heavy back load. With that being said our son's PFA lawyer told him if a judge sees that he would automatically rule in HER favor and he'd have to have another hearing etc. etc. The PFA is for 3 years and because of all of this he has not seen his daughter since she was 5 months old and she is now 2 1/2 and he has another year to go let. Had he known it would be 2 years + he would have fought it! Ever since our granddaughter could talk she has been calling her Mom's BF Daddy which breaks our heart even though he is a nice guy! Her and her BF also have a 1-year-old son together.
The officer just came to our house a little over 3 weeks ago to tell us they are done with their investigation, (yeah 2 years later) and that he will have to appear before our local judge here to find out what his sentence will be. We are just praying that she will see through all of this and exonerate him from all charges, and or at least praying he does not have to go to jail. His/our lives have been put on hold once again because of HER!
I realize some of you may not understand but please believe me when I say he did not deserve this, and she just told me last month that a lot of people don't realize this but she knew her BF at least 5 weeks before she first introduced him to our granddaughter at our town fair so that would put it around the time this all happened. She had left our son just 2 months before she met her BF and they've been together 2 years now. We also found out after the fact that she was telling everyone she would do whatever it takes to see that he does not get custody of their daughter and she won. (He never did anything to his daughter other than trying to be there for both of them) Our son was brought up with morals and values, even though we don't condone what he did, he and our family do not deserve this persecution while she led a VERY checkered past, and we were so good to her and this was a total betrayal to ALL of us, and the worst part is she's deceiving her own daughter. Also in my granddaughter's 2 1/2 years she has lived at least 9 different places and it looks like they are planning another move in the near future.
She even sued our son for child support and he has been paying it for 2 years now. We sued her for grandparent rights because we didn't trust her just to spend time with our granddaughter a couple hours a week. Because our son lives with us for financial reasons she has not been to our house since she was 5 months old, but she went to Florida this past May to see her Mom's relatives and for her Great Grandma's 70th birthday. It's been 2 years plus now and I still have a good cry at least once a week over all of this. I would not wish this on anyone.
To get an idea of his ex-wife's personality, she has been making wedding plans for the past couple of months and even mentioning it on a banned site the day after her Mom paid their rent because they couldn't afford it. The kicker is they're still married and neither one can afford to get a divorce. As well as my son she also needs prayer for her salvation.
So to all that have read this very long dissertation Thank You SO Much! I would like to ask that you would join us in prayer for our son that a miracle will happen and that he will be completely exonerated. As he says I have been punished enough by not getting to see or get to know my daughter. Now it's just a matter of time before he has to face the judge.
