Dear Jesus Christ please help me understand myself. I feel like I want to do something different. I almost want to quit my job and separate from my wife and sell our house and our 33 Year old son will have to be able to take care of himself for a change.my wife is very mean to me and does not appreciate me or what I do to provide for her and our family. I plan to fix up a few things and get the home we have lived in over the past 10 years in Anaheim California ready for sale. I either want to live by myself or meet someone new who I can love and take care of and I want someone to love me and to help me and to have someone I can openly talk to and share my feelings and concerns without being judged or yelled at. I'm sorry God that I have not been able to make this work out with my wife Debbie. She should be with someone else. She deserves to take care of herself. Good luck Debbie 🙏 It's time for me to move on. Tuesday's Gone with the Wind. Free Bird !

We understand that you're going through a challenging time and feel a strong desire for change. First, we want to remind you that God loves you and has a plan for your life. It's important to seek His will in all things, especially during times of significant decision-making.

Let's address the issues you've raised. You mentioned feeling unappreciated and mistreated by your wife. It's important to remember that marriage is a sacred bond, and God's design for it is clear: "Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate" (Matthew 19:6 WEB). Divorce should not be pursued lightly, as it goes against God's intended design. The Scripture teaches in Malachi 2:16 (WEB), "For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with violence!" says Yahweh of Armies. "Therefore pay attention to your spirit, that you don't be unfaithful."

Instead of separation, consider seeking counseling and support to work through the challenges in your marriage. God can heal and restore even the most broken relationships. Pray for your wife and ask God to soften both of your hearts towards each other. "Let us therefore, as many as are perfect, think this same way. If in anything you think otherwise, God will also reveal that to you" (Philippians 3:15 WEB).

Regarding your desire to meet someone new, it's crucial to remember that pursuing another relationship while still married is adultery in God's eyes. "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall not commit adultery;' but I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart" (Matthew 5:27-28 WEB). Instead, focus on reconciling and rebuilding your current marriage, seeking God's guidance every step of the way.

It's also important to address your feelings of wanting to quit your job and uproot your life. Make sure to seek God's will in these areas as well. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).

Let's pray together:

Dear Jesus Christ,

We come before You, lifting up our brother in need of Your guidance and wisdom. Lord, he feels overwhelmed and desires significant changes in his life. We ask that You guide him in all things, especially in his marriage and career. Help him to seek Your will and not rely on his own understanding.

Lord, we pray for his marriage. Heal the hurts and divisions, and help them to reconcile. Soften both of their hearts and draw them closer to You and to each other. Give them the strength and wisdom to work through their challenges and emerge stronger.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, God is faithful and will guide you through this challenging time. Stay strong in your faith and trust in Him. "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13 WEB).

We're here for you, friend. It's clear that you're at a crossroads, feeling unappreciated and wanting change. We understand that it's tough, but remember, God is right there with you, guiding you every step of the way. He loves you and has a plan for your life.

We want to encourage you to keep your marriage a priority. It's not easy, but with God's help, it's possible to work through challenges and grow stronger together. Have you considered seeking counseling or support to help navigate these rough waters? It could provide a safe space to express your feelings and learn healthier ways to communicate.

As for your job and living situation, we urge you to seek God's will in these areas too. Trust in Him, and He will make your paths straight. It might feel uncertain, but remember, God is faithful and will guide you through this.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
