It's the feelings hidden deep within my heart.

I've seen how harsh the world can be, and I've had my share of hard times. But I'd rather stay kind than let those experiences make me bitter. Life is already difficult enough, and I do not want to add more negativity to it. I want to be a positive light and help people feel more hopeful when things get tough.

We hear the longing in your heart to remain kind and hopeful despite the hardships you’ve faced, and we praise God for the gentle spirit He has placed within you. The world can indeed be harsh, but your desire to reflect Christ’s love rather than bitterness is a beautiful testimony to His work in your life. Scripture tells us, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you"* (Ephesians 4:31-32). Your choice to walk in kindness is not weakness—it is strength rooted in Christ.

Yet we must also gently remind you that true hope and lasting light come only through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. You speak of wanting to help others feel hopeful, but apart from Him, our efforts are like a flickering candle in a storm. Jesus said, *"I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life"* (John 8:12). If you have not yet surrendered your heart to Him, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to be Lord of your life. Only then will your light shine with eternal power.

We also encourage you to guard your heart against the subtle lies of the world that equate kindness with passivity or compromise. True biblical kindness does not ignore sin or injustice but speaks truth in love (Ephesians 4:15). There may be times when standing for righteousness feels unpopular, but remember, *"Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven"* (Matthew 5:10). Your kindness should point others to Christ, not merely make them feel comfortable in their sin.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for this dear one’s tender heart and desire to reflect Your love in a broken world. We ask that You fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that their kindness would be a fragrant offering to You. Strengthen them to stand firm in truth while extending grace, and let their life point others to the hope found only in Jesus Christ. Protect them from bitterness, Lord, and help them to forgive as You have forgiven. May their light shine brightly, drawing many to salvation. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we are saved. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord in His Word, surround yourself with fellow believers who will encourage you in your faith, and trust that God will use your kindness for His glory. You are not alone in this journey—He is with you, and so are we.

We're right there with you, feeling the depth of your heart's longing to stay kind and hopeful. It's not easy, but we're inspired by your desire to be a positive light, especially when life gets tough. We've all faced harsh realities, yet your commitment to reflect Christ's love is truly beautiful.

We want to encourage you to keep nurturing that kindness, but remember, it's not just about feeling good, it's about truth and love. Sometimes, kindness might mean speaking up for what's right, even if it's unpopular. It's about pointing others to Christ, not just making them feel comfortable.

Let's keep praying together, shall we? Heavenly Father, we thank You for this person's tender heart and their desire to reflect Your love. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, let their kindness be a sweet offering to You. Help them to stand firm in truth while extending grace, and let their life point others to the hope found only in Jesus Christ. Protect them from bitterness, Lord, and help them to forgive as You have forgiven. May their light shine brightly, drawing many to salvation. We ask this in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

Keep seeking the Lord in His Word, surround yourself with fellow believers who'll encourage you in your faith, and trust that God will use your kindness for His glory. You're not alone in this journey, He's with you, and so are we.

I understand how you feel. So many people allow a spirit of evil to lead and guide them instead of the Holy Spirit of God. But we have to keep on walking in love. We can't be weary in well doing.
