Jehovah Shammah (The Lord is There), Jehovah Shalom (The Lord, our Peace),
I come to You in prayer, praising You for life, breath, and health. Thank You for my family and friends, my church family and even my dog. Father thank You for food, shelter, clothing, transportation, employment and finances. I praise You for the Holy Scriptures, the privilege of prayer, and most of all, for Your Son's sacrifice at Calvary and His resurrection for the redemption of my soul.
Father, I am getting ready to take my final exams at 9:30 am. I praise You for the opportunity to go back to school and for giving me the knowledge and perseverance to work through the studies. I pray that You would grant me a calm spirit as I complete my tests. Allow me to recall the information I have learned, help my answers to be accurate and precise, allow my ears to hear what has been dictated, and let my fingers translate it to paper with accuracy and proficiency. This is an important step in my future God, and I feel as though You have led me in this path. Please bless it to completion, that upon certification, I would gain the job You have ordained for me. I praise You for the many times You have spoken to me and kept me on track. It has been an exceptionally hard year in so many ways, but I know my victory is here, and thank You for never leaving my side. I pray that I have brought You honor in all I have done.
I lay this request at the foot of Your throne, knowing it is already done through Your mercy and grace. Thank You for loving me so much. In the precious and holy name of Jesus I pray with gratitude and praise. Amen.
