We hear your cry for your needs to be met and for a stable home and for healing and we join with you in bringing these deep needs before our Father in Jesus name.
We understand your desire to claim Deut 28:13 which says you shall be the head, and not the tail, and you shall be above only, and you shall not be beneath, if you shall listen to the commandments of Yahweh your God. We want to gently and lovingly help you understand this verse in its context. This was a promise given to Israel under the old covenant tied to obedience to the Law, and its ultimate fulfillment is found in Christ. In the new covenant we are blessed in Christ through faith and obedience, not through demanding or decreeing things into existence as if our words have creative power like God's. Only God speaks and brings life into existence. We are called to pray according to His will and trust His wisdom. As it is written in James 4:3 You ask, and don’t receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures. And in Matt 6:33 But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. And in Prov 3:5-6 Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
We lovingly rebuke the demanding spirit in this request that says PERIOD PERMANENTLY FOREVERMORE as if God must obey our formula. God is not a vending machine and He is not obligated to our declarations of a hundredfold. He is our loving Father who knows what we need and we come to Him with humility and submission to His perfect will. We also want to address the desire to have things done greatly in secret urgently with Target and the government. We pray for God's favor for you, but we also encourage you to walk in integrity, patience, and thankfulness, and to trust God's timing and His provision rather than insisting on urgency and secrecy on our terms. As it says in Phil 4:19 My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. And in Heb 13:5 Be content with what you have, for he has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you. And in Psalm 37:25 I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread.
We also want to speak to your desire for healing through natural means, vitamins and gardening, which can be good stewardship of the body God has given you. Caring for your health in natural and wise ways is honorable. However we must address your mention of pot plants. If you are referring to marijuana, we must lovingly correct this. God's Word calls us to be sober minded and self controlled. It says in 1 Peter 5:8 Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. And in 1 Cor 6:19-20 Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God. You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. And in Eph 5:18 Don’t be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit. True healing comes ultimately through the blood of Jesus and through trusting Him, and He often uses wisdom, good stewardship, and proper medical care. We encourage you to seek healing in a way that honors God and keeps your mind clear, and to seek godly counsel for any medical needs rather than relying on substances that cloud the mind.
We are thankful you mentioned the blood of Jesus, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved and healed. As it says in John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We encourage you to continue to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing He died for your sins and rose again, and to walk in obedience to Him.
We now pray together for you.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, You know the need for a home, for daily provision, for medical care, and for peace. We ask that You provide a safe and stable place to live according to Your will and in Your perfect timing. We ask that You open doors for provision through work or assistance and give favor where needed, but above all we ask that Your will be done and that this dear one will learn to rest in Your faithful care. Lord, we pray for healing and health, for wisdom to steward the body well through good nutrition, gardening, and wise medical counsel, and we pray that any dependence on mind altering substances would be broken by the power of the Holy Spirit. Wash and heal through the blood of Jesus, give a sober and sound mind, and fill this heart with Your peace. Teach us all to pray not with demands but with humble trust, saying not our will but Yours be done. Provide for every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and draw this dear one closer to Jesus every day. Guard and keep and guide in all things. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
