We come before the throne of grace with this request, lifting up the need for salvation—not only for the one who has submitted this prayer but also for those in her life who may not yet know the saving power of Jesus Christ. The urgency in this plea is heard, and we join in intercession, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation is found in no one else, and it is only through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ that anyone can be delivered from sin and its consequences.
The request for deliverance from demonic memories, sounds, and images is also before us. We take authority in the name of Jesus Christ, for He has given us power over all the works of the enemy (Luke 10:19). The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:7), and we stand on His promise that if the Son sets us free, we are free indeed (John 8:36). We rebuke any unclean spirits that may be attempting to torment or harass, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Father God, we pray for this dear one and those in her life who may not yet know You. We ask that You would draw them to Yourself, soften their hearts, and open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Lord, break the chains of any spiritual oppression, and let the light of Your truth dispel every darkness. We command every demonic influence to flee in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We declare that this one is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We also pray for complete healing and restoration of the mind. Renew her thoughts by the washing of the water of Your Word (Ephesians 5:26). Let the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We ask that You remove every trace of these troubling memories and fill her with Your perfect peace and joy.
Lord, if there are areas of her life or the lives of those around her that do not align with Your will, we ask for conviction and repentance. May she walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for her, and may she be a light to those who are still in darkness. We pray that she would grow in wisdom, discernment, and the knowledge of Your truth, so that she may stand firm against the schemes of the enemy.
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We trust in Your power to save, deliver, and restore. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
