Dhitlor

Beloved Servant
Please pray for the removal of a dangerous neighbor from my family's lives. This person and their circle are dangerous and even after God removed them from the neighborhood after I and others prayed for their removal, they have continued to try to stay in my family's life via my mother who is gullible, stubborn and unwise enough to allow them in. They have harassed me in relation to demonic harassment and are now reappearing today "coincidentally" at the same time as I am struggling in my faith. Thank you.

We hear your cry and we join with you in prayer concerning this dangerous situation with this neighbor and their circle, and we understand the distress of seeing God answer prayer by removing them from your neighborhood, only to see them attempt to maintain access to your family through your mother. We do not believe their reappearance at the same time you are struggling in your faith is a coincidence, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood alone.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. The enemy prowls seeking whom he may devour, as it is written your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour 1 Peter 5:8. Yet we take comfort that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world, and that God is our refuge and protection.

We want to gently encourage you in how you speak of your mother. We hear your frustration and your concern for her safety and wisdom, and we share that concern. At the same time Scripture calls us to honor your father and your mother Exodus 20:12 even when we disagree with their decisions and see them as unwise or easily misled. We encourage you to speak about her and to her with both truth and honor, asking God to give her discernment and to guard her heart from manipulation, while you maintain loving and firm boundaries.

We also notice your prayer mentions God but does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. It is in His mighty name that we have authority to resist the enemy.

We want to pray for your protection and for your faith to be strengthened, not weakened, by this trial. God promises He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust Psalm 91:1-2. The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them Psalm 34:7. We also cling to the promise that the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one 2 Thessalonians 3:3.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We thank You that You hear us when we call upon that name. Lord, we lift up this dear one and their family to You. You see this dangerous neighbor and their circle and You know the harassment and the demonic oppression that has occurred. We ask in Jesus name that You would place a hedge of protection around this family, around their home, their minds and their hearts. We ask that You would completely sever the ungodly influence and access this person seeks to maintain, and that You would close every door that the enemy is trying to use through deception or manipulation. Grant wisdom to this mother, Lord. Give her eyes to see the danger and a heart to receive wise counsel, for You give wisdom generously to those who ask Proverbs 2:6. Help this child to honor their mother while also speaking the truth in love and setting godly boundaries.

Lord, we rebuke the works of darkness in Jesus name and we ask You to cause the enemy to flee as Your child submits to You, for You have said Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7. Strengthen this one's faith in this hour of struggling. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and that when we are weak, You are strong. Let them cast all anxiety on You because You care for them, and guard their heart and mind with Your peace which surpasses all understanding Philippians 4:6-7. We pray that what the enemy meant for harm, You would use for good to draw this family closer to You.

We also pray for this neighbor and their circle, that if it is Your will, You would bring them to repentance and salvation, but that You would keep them far from this family and cause their schemes to fail. We trust not in our own strength but in Yours, for if God is for us, who can be against us Romans 8:31. We do not ask for vengeance in our own hands, but we trust Your justice and Your protection. Keep this family from fear and help them to be wise and discerning, to seek help from trusted pastors or elders and, if there is physical danger or harassment, to also seek appropriate help from proper authorities, for You have established authorities for protection.

We thank You Lord that You have removed this danger before and we trust You are able to do it again according to Your perfect will. Restore peace to this home and let faith rise up again. We ask all these things in the saving and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and our only mediator. Amen.

We encourage you to continue steadfast in prayer and in the Word, to put on the full armor of God each day Ephesians 6:11, to remain in fellowship with mature believers who can pray with you and support you and your mother, and to document and wisely limit contact with those who have shown themselves to be dangerous. Do not give place to fear, but give your concerns to God daily, trusting that He who began a good work in you will complete it.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for trusting us with this. It makes sense you would feel worn down when someone you have experienced as dangerous and harassing is finding a way back into your family's life through your mother, especially after you had seen some relief when they left the neighborhood. That timing alongside a dip in your faith would leave anyone feeling unsettled.

We hear your concern for your family's safety and for your mom. Loving a parent while disagreeing with her choices is painful, and it is hard to set limits when another adult keeps a door open that you wish would stay closed.

One step that often helps in situations like this is to not carry it alone. Consider inviting a steady, trusted person who knows you and your family, like a pastor, elder or mature believer, to hear the full story and help you think through wise boundaries and safety. It can help to write down what has happened, when, and how you were affected, so you have clear facts to share, and to make a simple plan for what you will do if contact happens again, including stepping away and seeking help nearby. If you can, talk with your mother at a calm moment, with that other person present if needed, about what you need to feel safe.

We are praying for you.

Father, we lift this family to You in Jesus name. Please guard them and give wisdom for every interaction. Give Your child peace, steadiness in faith, and clear next steps. Give their mother discernment and protection as well. Draw each of them closer to You and surround them with Your care. In Jesus name, amen.

Your request has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the Lord who is our refuge and shield. We understand the heaviness you carry, the concern for your family, the weariness of seeing one whom you believed God had removed from your neighborhood seeking again to have influence through your mother, and the distress of harassment that feels both outward and spiritual, coming at a time when your own faith feels tried and low.

Be encouraged that even little faith, when it is true faith in Jesus Christ, is precious to God. It is the gift of God, born from above, and though it may be as small as a grain of mustard seed, it lays hold of Christ Himself. You need not have great strength in yourself to be safe, for the vessel in which you have embarked is safe, and Christ will bring you to shore. The essence of faith is not merely knowing that He is strong, but dropping down into His arms and trusting Him to keep you. If you have that faith, though it tremble, you belong to His family.

Scripture calls us above all to take the shield of faith, for it quenches the fiery darts of the wicked. Whether those darts come from Satan, from wicked men, or from our own troubled hearts, faith answers them by holding up Christ. This is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith. When temptation and oppression press hard, faith supplies the antidote because it looks to Him who has overcome. He that has true faith has a shield of proof, and the swords of his enemies go to shivers upon it.

Therefore we pray for you in this way:

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, through whom alone is salvation, we ask for Your protection over this dear one and their family. Set a hedge about them and restrain all that would do harm. Where there has been harassment and fear, grant peace and safety. We ask that You would give wisdom and discernment to their mother, that You would open her eyes to see clearly and give her firmness to establish right boundaries for the household. Guard her from being misled and give her a love for what is wise and true.

Lord, we ask that You would rebuke every demonic influence and oppression, for Christ has all authority in heaven and on earth and His people are kept in Him. Help this one to walk by faith, to receive Christ daily and to walk in Him, clinging simply to the cross and finding Christ to be real and near. Where faith feels small and struggling, we ask You who gave faith at the first to increase it, to help unbelief, and to let even little faith be strengthened to trust You more firmly through this winter season of trial. Let Your Word be a guard and Your Spirit a comfort.

Grant also, Father, that those who have caused fear and trouble may be restrained from harm, and if it be Your will, bring them to repentance and to saving faith in Jesus, that they might be changed and made new. But above all keep Your children from evil and cause Your peace to rule in this home.

We encourage you to continue in prayer, to remain in the Word, and to walk closely with faithful believers in your local church who can know you, pray with you, and help bear this burden. Share these concerns with trusted pastoral oversight and, where there is danger or harassment, seek also the proper help for protection and wisdom in establishing boundaries with love and firmness. Do not face these things alone.

Take up the shield of faith each day, remembering that the least faith in Jesus is saving faith, and that He delights to sustain those who look to Him. May the Lord who taught us that the just shall live by faith keep you living by faith in every condition, in summer and in winter, and bring you through this trial with a stronger confidence in Christ.
