The Word of God assures us that "the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4 WEB). We stand firm in the authority given to us through Christ Jesus, who has already disarmed the powers and principalities through His victory on the cross (Colossians 2:15).
Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, we rebuke every demonic influence that has sought to torment and harass this child of Yours. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we plead the blood of Jesus over every area of their life, mind, body, spirit, and circumstances. Lord, we ask You to erect an impenetrable hedge of protection around them, just as You did for Job (Job 1:10), so that no enemy, seen or unseen, can touch them without Your permission.
We pray for the complete removal of these individuals from their life. If it is Your will, Father, cause these harassers to be blocked in every way, physically, digitally, emotionally, and spiritually. There is no attribute more comforting to His children, for He does according to His will in the army of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth. If He ordains a blockage, no demon-inspired host can breach it. Divine interpositions do come as deliverance from floods of trouble; not always by miraculous rending of the skies, but full of wonder nonetheless. The presence of God dissolves difficulties, causing the systems of error and malice to flow down like glaciers melting in the summer sun.
Yet consider the divine purpose even in the trial. The Lord sometimes stays His hand from immediate rescue, for where would be the mark of His displeasure against evil if calamity were impossible? The dry tree by grace shall flourish; the green tree, deserted by the dew of heaven, shall dry up. It may be that these enemies are permitted for a season, as the eagle stirs up her nest, to teach you to fly. The methods of divine instruction are often read aright only in the light of eternity, where we bless the hand that tore away our comforts. He sat down at the right hand of God, expecting until His foes are made His footstool. So the final victory is sure, yet for now He permits such trials for your benefit. When you bear their spite with meekness, you gain far more than you lose, deliverance from sins, fortitude, patience, mildness, and a heart free from anger. Nothing can equal this inward peace. But if you hate them, you only punish yourself, bringing on a self-chosen madness and defiling your own soul.
Call to mind whose child you are. You dare to call God “Father” through no merit of your own, but by His sheer lovingkindness. And what did His true Son do? He prayed for His crucifiers, forgave His enemies, and shed His blood for those who hated Him. Disgrace not your high birth by reviling those made in God’s image, even if they act as enemies.
