We hear your cry for deliverance and stand with you in spiritual warfare, lifting this burden before the throne of God. The harassment you’ve endured for years is not of the Lord, it is a work of darkness, and we take authority over it in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every demonic influence behind this torment and command it to flee in Jesus’ name. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Father God, we come before You as Your children, washed in the blood of Jesus and covered by His righteousness. We ask You to break every chain of harassment, oppression, and fear that has bound our brother/sister. Surround them with Your holy angels to guard and protect them. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, fill their heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). The sharpness of your trial is understood, yet let us not fix our gaze too intently upon the instruments of malice. It is well to have grace enough to see that tribulation comes from God, He fills the bitter cup as well as the sweet goblet. Troubles do not spring out of the dust, neither does affliction grow up from the ground like hemlock from the furrows of the field, but the Lord Himself kindles the fiery furnace and sits as a Refiner at the door. That which we receive from the rod of the Lord bears the blessed aspect of chastening from a father's hand, and this is a gladsome fact which makes even the sharpest smart to be profitable. Those who harass you are but second causes; look beyond them to the First Cause, who permits this for a season to drive you to Himself.
Deliverance from the power of darkness is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. You may fancy, from the actions of some professors, that they were only helped to keep away from some conspicuous sin, but true liberty is no mere human reformation. Unless a supernatural power is put forth in it, any form of deliverance is worth nothing. If you have been born again from below, you will go below, you must be born again from above if you are to go above. Cry out to Him who has found a ransom, who gave His own Son to bear the penalty, that He might deliver you from the pit and from all the attacks of the enemy. He keeps back your soul from the Pit, and your life from perishing by the sword.
Wait only upon God, for your expectation is from Him. The deliverance He gives is not by easy work or a hasty word. Israel came forth with joy and gladness only after a mighty display of power. So shall you find it, the Lord has not forsaken you, even though you be slandered and beset. He has taught you the mischief that comes from loving the world and the things thereof, and now your tempters vex you in vain if you abide in Him. The burden you carry is heavy, for constant harassment feels like the assault of demons, stealing peace from your soul. Yet remember the good tidings Christ proclaimed: deliverance from every evil and the supply of boundless good. He came to put demons to flight, destroy the devil’s works, and open Paradise to all believers. Through His incarnation, you have received adoption as a child of God, and the Spirit cries out within you, “Abba, Father.” That is your true inheritance, and no earthly trouble can remove it.
Do not let their rage provoke you to become like them. Those who surrender to shameless malice are no different from demoniacs, making themselves sewers of filth and dishonor. Pity them instead, for they are captives of a madness they have chosen, and pray for their deliverance from the evil one. Mourn for their sin, and for your own affliction, and you will be comforted. Christ Himself promised, “Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted.” When God grants comfort, a thousand sorrows may fall like snowflakes, but you will rise above them all, for His rewards always exceed our struggles.
Consider also the saints of old who refused deliverance from torture so that they might obtain a better resurrection. If God, in His wisdom, permits these harassers to remain for a time, He is training you to long more deeply for the life to come, where every enemy will be silenced and every tear wiped away. So we pray for the removal of this company from your life, if it be the Lord’s will, but we pray even more that you stand firm, clothed with Christ, bearing all with patience, and receiving the abundant consolation He has stored up for those who love Him.

That does not make it easy, but it does mean you are not alone, and nothing has spun out of God’s sight.
The enemy works through people, often using intimidation and unrelenting pressure to wear down your trust in the Lord. But remember that the spirits behind this harassment are already defeated foes. Jesus disarmed them at the cross. The One who lives in you is far greater than any power that can stir up a crowd against you. No locust-like horde, no unseen terror, can snatch you from His hand or remove the seal He has placed on you.
I will certainly pray for your deliverance from this harassment. Pray also with me for these very people, as difficult as that sounds. They are not your real enemy; they are captives of dark influence, and their actions are storing up a weight that only God can lift. Ask the Father to break that hold, to bring them to their senses, and if He wills, to scatter or silence the campaign against you. So do not be paralyzed by fear. The demonic realm is real, but its fury is a last gasp. Stay rooted in prayer, in the Word, and in fellowship with believers who can stand with you. We ask for God’s tangible protection around you, for angels to encamp where you are, and for the peace that passes understanding to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. He will deliver you from every evil work and preserve you for His heavenly kingdom.
