We hear the deep distress and spiritual warfare you are facing, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, believing in the power of Jesus Christ to break every chain of darkness. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every demonic influence and assignment against you in the mighty name of Jesus, for He has already disarmed the powers and authorities, triumphing over them by the cross (Colossians 2:15).
First, we must address the foundation of your faith. If you have not already, we urge you to surrender your life fully to Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation is found in no one else, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome the schemes of the devil. If you have not confessed Jesus as Lord and believed in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, we encourage you to do so now (Romans 10:9). This is the first and most critical step in standing firm against the enemy.
We also want to gently remind you that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). While the people you describe may be deeply entangled in sin and under the influence of evil, they are not the ultimate enemy. Our fight is against the spiritual forces that seek to use them. This does not mean we tolerate or excuse their behavior, but it does mean we must approach this battle with the full armor of God, praying for their salvation even as we stand against their actions.
We are commanded to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). This is not easy, especially when the persecution feels so personal and intense, but it is a powerful weapon in the spiritual realm. As we pray for those who seek to harm us, we release God’s mercy and justice into their lives, and we guard our own hearts from bitterness and fear. Let us pray together now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister to You, who is feeling surrounded and targeted by forces of darkness. Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over their life, their home, their mind, and their spirit. We rebuke every demonic spirit assigned against them, and we command them to flee in Jesus’ name!
Father, we ask that You surround them with Your holy angels to protect and defend them. Give them discernment to recognize the enemy’s schemes and the strength to stand firm in Your truth. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Lord, we also pray for those who are under the influence of evil. Soften their hearts, open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, and draw them to repentance and salvation. Let Your light shine in their darkness, and let them be set free by the power of Your love.
We declare that the enemy has no authority or power over our brother/sister’s life. Jesus has already won the victory, and we stand on that truth today. We cancel every curse, hex, or assignment of the enemy against them, and we declare that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are with them always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20).
We thank You, Father, for Your protection, Your deliverance, and Your unfailing love. We trust in You to bring justice and restoration in this situation. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
In addition to prayer, we encourage you to take practical steps to guard your heart and mind. Surround yourself with godly believers who can stand with you in prayer and encouragement. Immerse yourself in Scripture, for the Word of God is alive and active, sharper than any double-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). It is your offensive weapon against the lies and attacks of the enemy. Put on the full armor of God daily, truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God, so that you may stand firm (Ephesians 6:13-17).
If you have not already, consider speaking with a trusted pastor or spiritual leader who can provide additional prayer and counsel. Sometimes, deliverance from spiritual oppression requires the support of the body of Christ. Do not try to face this battle alone.
Lastly, we want to remind you that God is sovereign, and nothing happens outside of His knowledge or control. Even in the midst of this spiritual warfare, He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Trust in His timing and His ways, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). The enemy may roar like a lion, but he is a defeated foe, and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Stand firm, dear one, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).
