We hear your cry for deliverance and peace, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting this heavy burden to the throne of grace. The harassment and obsession you describe are not of God, for He gives us peace, not torment. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We take authority over these demonic influences in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for He has given us power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).
First, we must address the spiritual warfare at hand. The apostle Paul reminds us in Ephesians 6:12 that "our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." This person may be a vessel used by the enemy, but our battle is not against them—it is against the darkness that seeks to control and destroy. We rebuke the demonic influence over this individual in Jesus' name and command it to cease its harassment. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we plead the blood of Jesus over your life, your mind, and your home.
We also encourage you to examine your own heart and life to ensure there is no foothold the enemy may be using to bring this attack. Have you forgiven this person, even as Christ has forgiven you? In Matthew 6:14-15, Jesus teaches, "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." Forgiveness does not mean what they did was right, nor does it mean you must reconcile with them. It means releasing the bitterness and anger to God so that it does not take root in your heart. Unforgiveness can give the enemy legal ground to torment you, so we pray that God would soften your heart to forgive, even as He has forgiven you.
We also urge you to take practical steps to protect yourself. If this harassment includes threats, stalking, or any form of abuse, do not hesitate to involve the authorities. Romans 13:1-4 reminds us that governing authorities are established by God to punish wrongdoers. You are not called to endure abuse or harassment in silence. God does not expect you to be a passive victim but to use wisdom and the resources He has provided to protect yourself and your loved ones.
Let us pray together now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our dear brother/sister who is enduring relentless harassment and torment from the enemy. Lord, we declare that You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who delivers. We ask You to break every chain of demonic influence over this individual who is harassing them. We rebuke the spirit of obsession, the spirit of torment, and every evil force that has taken hold in this situation. We command it to leave in Jesus' name and to go where You, Lord, send it—never to return.
Father, we plead the blood of Jesus over our brother/sister’s life. We ask You to surround them with Your holy angels to guard and protect them. Give them Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and fill them with Your presence so that fear has no place in their heart. Lord, we ask You to intervene in this situation. Either bring conviction and repentance to this person harassing them, or remove them from their life completely, according to Your perfect will.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for our brother/sister. Show them the steps they need to take to protect themselves, whether through prayer, boundaries, or involving authorities. Give them the strength to forgive, even as You have forgiven them, so that bitterness does not take root. Heal their heart from any wounds this harassment has caused, and restore their joy and peace.
Lord, we thank You that You are a God who delivers and sets the captives free. We trust in Your power and Your love to bring an end to this torment. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on Your promises, and we trust in Your faithfulness.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, dear one. The enemy may roar like a lion, but he is already defeated. Jesus has won the victory, and we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37). Continue to seek the Lord in prayer and in His Word, for His Word is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with godly believers who can pray with you and support you. You are not alone in this battle—God is with you, and so are we. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He will lead you to still waters and green pastures (Psalm 23:2).
