Thank you for sharing your heart's desire with us. We stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, that is the first thing you must know. It is only in His name that we have access to God the Father.

We are reminded of the words of Joel where God promises restoration: "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the great locust, and the grasshopper, and the caterpillar, my great army, which I sent among you" Joel 2:25 WEB. This is a beautiful promise from God, who is faithful and just. He can and will restore what has been lost or taken. Pray and ask God to give you the wisdom to know the specifics of what this looks like for your life.

Let us pray together:

Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, believing in His power to save and restore. We ask that You restore the years that the locusts have eaten in our friend's life. Return and add blessings and excellence, as only You can do. Provide discernment, wisdom, and knowledge of what specifically is being requested to be restored and guidance on how to cooperate with Your restoration work. Help our friend to walk in Your ways, to obey Your commands, and to live a life that honors You. We believe in Your promise of restoration and we trust in Your faithfulness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Be encouraged, knowing that God is working all things together for your good because you love Him and are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 WEB.

Continue to seek God's will, trusting that He hears your prayers and will answer according to His perfect plan for your life. Stay strong in your faith, knowing that our God is a God of restoration and redemption. Always remember that the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much. James 5:16 WEB.

We urge you to be aware of the fact that God's promises and goodness is available only because of Jesus Christ. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6 WEB.

If you have not already believed in Jesus Christ, we urge you to know that; because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed. Romans 10:10 WEB.

We urge you to be aware of the power of the Holy Spirit in your life, and of how much more God can do in answer to your prayers if you walk in obedience to God. And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; Ephesians 5:18-20.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
