Last week I received two job offers after 3 rounds of intense interviews at a company I had once worked for a couple of years back as a Temp. From the job offers provided, I was asked to choose one and that it's a conditional offer and once the vetting is completed and they have done all they need to then I can start working early January. I was given a start date and salary. Yesterday I found out that the position was advertised again the one that they offered me yet they sent me an offer and my vetting was not yet completed. They didn't even inform me that they were going to look for someone else for that same position. When I try contacting them they are not giving me clear answers to anything. I feel so devastated after being unemployed for a whole year. I felt like God was coming through for me, only to have it all taken away from me again. I'm so hurt. Why would God let that happen to me? I've lost everything this year, this has been the worst year of my life and I feel like God has forsaken me. I feel like God has his favorites. I've suffered so much alone. I don't know what I did to deserve all this pain, struggle, hurt that I am currently facing. I am so tired. I don't have any strength and fight left in me.
We hear your pain, and we stand with you in this moment of deep disappointment and confusion. The hurt you feel is real, and the questions you’re asking—why this happened, why now, where God is in all of it—are ones many of us have wrestled with in our own seasons of struggle. But we want to gently remind you of what Scripture tells us: God has not forsaken you. Even when it feels like He is silent, He is still sovereign. Even when the path ahead seems unclear, He is still working.
The psalmist cried out in a similar place of despair: *"Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him, the saving help of my countenance, and my God"* (Psalm 42:11 WEB). Your feelings are valid, but they are not the final word. God sees your suffering, and He collects every tear (Psalm 56:8). He is not distant from your pain—He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).
We must also address the lie that God has "favorites." Scripture is clear: *"For there is no partiality with God"* (Romans 2:11 WEB). His love for you is not based on your circumstances, your performance, or your suffering. It is based on His unchanging character. The enemy wants you to believe that God has abandoned you, but Jesus promised, *"I will never leave you nor forsake you"* (Hebrews 13:5 WEB). This trial does not define your worth or your future.
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is hurting deeply. Lord, You see the weight of this disappointment, the exhaustion of a long season of waiting, and the questions that have arisen in their heart. We ask that You would meet them in this place of pain. Remind them of Your faithfulness, even when circumstances seem to contradict it. Strengthen their weary heart with the truth of Your Word—that You are their provider, their sustainer, and their hope.
Father, we ask that You would open doors of opportunity that no man can shut. Provide clarity in this situation—whether this job was truly from You or if You have something better in store. Give wisdom to discern the next steps and the courage to trust You, even when the path is unclear. Heal the wounds of this rejection and replace them with peace that surpasses understanding.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of discouragement and despair that has tried to take root. We declare that this is not the end of the story. You are making all things new, and we trust that You will restore what has been lost. Fill our brother/sister with renewed strength and hope as they wait on You.
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who overcame the world and who holds our future in His hands. Amen.
In this season, we encourage you to cling to the truth that God is not done with you. The enemy may have meant this situation for harm, but God can use it for good ( Genesis 50:20). Keep seeking Him, even when it’s hard. Keep praying, even when answers seem delayed. And remember, you are not alone—we are standing with you, believing that God will turn this setback into a setup for something greater.
If you haven’t already, we also encourage you to seek godly community—believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and remind you of God’s promises when your faith feels weak. You were never meant to walk this road alone. *"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up"* (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 WEB).
Lastly, we want to gently address something important: salvation and access to God come only through Jesus Christ. If you have not placed your faith in Him as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6 WEB). There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you’d like to know more about what it means to follow Christ, we would love to share that with you. He is the ultimate source of hope, peace, and restoration.
Oh, dear friend, we're so sorry to hear about the painful situation you're in. It's like you've been given a taste of victory, only to have it snatched away. It's okay to feel devastated, confused, and hurt. God sees your tears, and He's right there with you in your pain.
We want to remind you of something powerful: God is not a respecter of persons. He doesn't have favorites. He loves you just as much as He loves anyone else. The fact that you're feeling this way doesn't mean He's forsaken you. In fact, it's in our darkest moments that we often feel God's presence the most.
Let's pray together, shall we?
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of our friend who's hurting so deeply. Lord, we ask that You would wrap Your loving arms around them. Comfort them in their disappointment and confusion. Remind them of Your unfailing love and faithfulness.
Give them clarity, Lord. Help them to understand what's next. If this job wasn't from You, guide them towards the path that is. If it was, open the doors that need to be opened and close the ones that don't.
Strengthen them, Lord. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to trust in You, even when the path ahead seems unclear.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We're here for you, friend. Let's keep each other in prayer and lift one another up. You're not alone in this. We believe that God is going to turn this situation around for your good. Trust in Him, and keep seeking His face.
"So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with My righteous right Hand" (Isaiah 41:10)
I prayed with you for this, in Jesus' powerful Name, Amen.
Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight".
I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We want you to know how deeply we have carried your burden in our hearts these past days. Your pain and confusion have not gone unnoticed by us, nor by our Heavenly Father, who sees every tear and hears every silent cry. We have prayed fervently that God would wrap His arms of comfort around you as you walk through this valley of uncertainty and disappointment. We asked Him to remind you that His love is not measured by circumstances, but by the unchanging truth of His Word—that He will never leave you nor forsake you, even when it feels like He has turned His face away.
We have also lifted up your job situation, asking the Lord to reveal His purpose in these delays. Though the enemy may intend this for harm, we believe God can use it for good, just as He promises in Romans 8:28. We prayed that He would either open the door that was seemingly closed or lead you to an even better opportunity—one that aligns with His perfect will for your life. We asked Him to give you clarity where there is confusion, peace where there is anxiety, and hope where there is despair.
If the Lord has already answered this prayer in ways you’ve yet to recognize, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. But if the weight of this trial still feels heavy, we invite you to share it with us again. We are here to stand with you, to intercede on your behalf, and to remind you that you are not alone. God has not forgotten you, and neither have we.
May the Holy Spirit fill you with fresh strength and renew your faith as you continue to seek the Lord. May you feel His presence in tangible ways, and may He restore what has been lost—whether it be joy, security, or trust. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
The bible has taken nearly all my money and my job. I have time and medicine, I am nervous though. I'm typing the holy bible at the book of Job hoping for a miracle.
Jesus Christ, my prayer request is for my early death in my next sleep. I don't want to die suffering. I'm afraid and useless, and a slow learner. I wish to die and meet God already instead of living. Wish I had a shotgun and motivation for a quick death alone. I hope I don't wake again.
