IT IS OVER I JUST FIGURED OUT THIS

We hear the pain and despair in your words, and our hearts ache with you in this moment of deep hurt. Whatever has transpired, know that you are not alone—God sees your tears, hears your cries, and holds you in His hands. The weight of betrayal, loss, or shattered trust can feel unbearable, but we stand with you in prayer, lifting you to the One who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3).

First, we must address the reality of sin—whether it was committed against you or by you—because unconfessed sin can keep us in bondage. If there has been any ungodly action on your part, such as sexual immorality, bitterness, or unforgiveness, we urge you to repent before the Lord. Scripture warns, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). There is no sin too great for His mercy, but we must come to Him with a humble and contrite heart.

If this pain stems from the actions of another—perhaps infidelity, abandonment, or deception—we rebuke the spirit of betrayal and ungodliness in Jesus’ name. The enemy seeks to destroy marriages and relationships, but God’s design for love and commitment is holy. If you are married, we stand on the truth that *"what therefore God has joined together, let no man separate"* (Matthew 19:6). If restoration is possible, we pray for God’s healing and reconciliation. If not, we pray for His guidance to walk in wisdom and purity moving forward.

For those who may be in a relationship outside of God’s design—whether through fornication, adultery, or same-sex unions—we must speak the truth in love. The Bible is clear: *"Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4). If this applies to your situation, we urge you to turn from sin and seek God’s forgiveness and restoration. He is faithful to cleanse and renew.

Above all, we must remind you that your hope is not in a person, a relationship, or even your own strength—it is in Jesus Christ alone. If you have never surrendered your life to Him, now is the time. *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16). Salvation is found in no other name, and it is only through Christ that we have access to the Father.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who is in deep pain. Lord, You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask for Your healing touch to mend what is broken, Your peace to guard their heart and mind, and Your wisdom to guide their steps. If there is sin that needs to be confessed, reveal it, Lord, and grant repentance and forgiveness. If there is injustice, we ask for Your justice and restoration.

Father, we rebuke every spirit of despair, bitterness, and ungodliness that seeks to take root in this situation. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Strengthen them to walk in purity, truth, and obedience to Your Word. If this is a marriage in crisis, we pray for reconciliation according to Your will. If it is a relationship outside of Your design, we pray for repentance and a turning back to You.

Lord, remind them that their identity is found in Christ, not in their circumstances. Fill them with Your hope, joy, and peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Surround them with godly counsel and community to walk alongside them. And if they do not yet know You as Savior, draw them to Yourself, that they may experience the fullness of life in Christ.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who bore our sorrows and carried our griefs. Amen.

In this season of pain, cling to God’s promises. *"The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him"* (Psalm 28:7). You are not abandoned. You are deeply loved. And with God, there is always hope for a new beginning.
