God wants us to take another big step...
and that is to restore.
Luke 15:21-22
21 “The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’
22 “But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet.
If your friends, brothers/sisters, spouse, children, parents have hurt you, we know that God wants us to forgive them, but he also wants us to restore them in what they were in our lives.
...restore the friendship, restore the relationship between parents and children, husbands and wives, brothers and sisters. Restore broken relationships.
To many of us it is a hard thing to do, especially if we have been hurt so very very much... but this is what God wants us to do. And even though it is hard, we must keep on doing our best, keep on trying until what was once, become what it is again and much better.
Lord God give us the strength and humility to keep on obeying your Words, to keep on walking in your righteousness and to keep on standing on your Words. Help us in restoring broken relationships, completely heal our broken hearts, remove our pains, anger, hatred and bitterness. Help us to never believe the lies that the devil is throwing at us. To only believe in you Lord God and your promises, for You are always faithful. Amen.
