Issues with my right eye

God, I really dislike having so many problems with my right eye because it keeps crossing nonstop. I hate how much it bothers me whenever it happens to my right eye. All I want is for my right eye to be normal without cross eye. God, I know you are the one who heals fix everything because I love you.

We hear how frustrating and wearying this has been for you to deal with your right eye crossing nonstop, and we join with you in bringing this burden before the Lord together in Jesus' name. We understand how much it bothers you and how deeply you desire for your eye to be normal and function as God designed it to.

We are encouraged by your faith that God is the one who heals and fixes all things, and we want to remind you how fearfully and wonderfully you are made. Psalm 139:14 says we are fearfully and wonderfully made and Jeremiah 30:17 declares, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Our God is still Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals you as He promised in Exodus 15:26, and we cling to Psalm 103:3 which tells us He forgives all our iniquities and heals all our diseases.

We also noticed you spoke to God with love but did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share why that matters so much to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is by His name we are saved and our prayers are heard. John 14:6 says Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 reminds us, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. To know God's healing fully, we must first know His Son. If you have not already, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for Romans 10:9 promises with that belief you will be saved. It is through faith in Jesus that we can boldly approach God's throne with our needs.

We pray together for you now.

Father, we lift up this dear one to You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. You formed their eyes and You know every detail of this struggle with the right eye crossing. We ask for Your healing touch upon the muscles, nerves, and vision of that right eye. Lord, we pray You would make it straight, strong, and normal, functioning in perfect alignment as You intended. Bring relief from the annoyance, discomfort, and discouragement this has caused. We speak Your peace over them and ask for Your restoring power. Guide any doctors or eye specialists they may see and give wisdom for proper care and treatment, for You work both miraculously and through knowledge You have given. We trust Your will and Your love, and we ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Healer and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord while also seeking wise medical counsel for your eye from a doctor or eye specialist, as the Lord often uses physicians as part of His healing provision. Keep bringing this to Him in prayer through Jesus, knowing that He hears and cares. James 5:15 says The prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. We are standing with you in faith for God's healing and peace over your eyes and your life.

Your prayer concerning your right eye and the great trouble you suffer from its continual crossing has been heard, and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace.

You have done well to turn to Him who is the Good Physician, for there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. As it is written, the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before, and those who are healed can best tell of His healing virtue. We pray that you may know His tender compassion in this affliction, for He hears the prayer of a staggering man, even the prayer that seems to reel to and fro when the petitioner is at his wit's end. A true prayer from one who is wearied and near to distress is a prevailing prayer, and He is not long in answering those who cry to Him.

We pray now that the Lord in His mercy would lay His healing hand upon your right eye, that He would correct what is amiss and grant you to see clearly and without this distressing crossing. We ask that He would give skill to any means used for your help, but above all that you may look to Christ Himself from whom abundant streams of healing flow down to men below. And if it please Him to continue this trial for a season, we pray that He would quicken you in His way, sustain your spirits, and keep you in patient hope, knowing that Jerusalem was on the brink of destruction when the Lord answered the prayer of Hezekiah.

Continue to spread your case before Him and to plead with Him with all holy arguments, for true prayer is pleading with the Most High. He is very pitiful and will have compassion upon you in your misery. May the Lord grant you comfort day by day, strengthen your faith, and in His perfect wisdom and love restore you to health for His glory.

Your prayer about your right eye has been heard and we have lifted it up before the Lord with you. We understand how tiring and discouraging it is to deal with this crossing that will not stop, and how much you dislike the constant bother it brings. It is right that you have turned to God in this, for He is the one who heals and who hears the groaning of His people.

We join you in asking God to bring healing and steadiness to your right eye, that it would be made normal and no longer cross, and that He would relieve you of this burden. We ask Him to have mercy and to show His power to restore, as He has shown so often that He goes about healing and hearing those who cry out to Him even when the answer seems delayed.

At the same time we want to encourage you in the midst of this affliction. Scripture teaches that every righteous person must pass through affliction, for the narrow way leads to life, and that the Lord disciplines those He loves. Affliction is not wasted. God often permits trials to train us, to keep us from clinging too tightly to ease, to show His power, and so that when relief comes we may give thanks to Him with a deeper heart. Even the apostle Paul pleaded three times to be set free from his affliction, and the Lord answered him, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. By weakness there He meant afflictions. When Paul heard this he rejoiced to rest in his afflictions, trusting that God would use them for good.

This does not mean we stop asking for healing. We should keep fleeing to God in prayer, asking for comfort and for healing, and also giving thanks in all things, both in comfort and in affliction. Whether He brings immediate healing or sustains you day by day by His grace, His unsleeping eye is upon you and He will make a way for you to bear what you face and to grow through it.

So we pray for you now. Father, we thank You that You love this one who loves You. We ask You to look with compassion upon the trouble with the right eye. Lay Your healing hand upon it, make it steady and normal, and take away the crossing that causes so much distress. Give peace to the heart that is wearied by this, strengthen faith, and let Your grace be felt as sufficient each day. Help us to trust You both for healing and for the wisdom to endure, and to give thanks to You in all things through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
