Beloved of All
A link was sent to us, for an online class my mum ### taught today through DingTalk; it didn’t work right; sent e-mail back to sender for help, it did get resolved eventually, but, before that mostly, my mum got mad at me for sending e-mail to him, and got mad me for something else, she forced me upstairs (as she wanted to go back to bed; so did I) as didn’t think the link was going to work; it did work finally; now I am downstairs again, upstairs upset, as I don’t want to wreck my legs for going upstairs again, and they are a lot of stairs. They are other online classes today, with other places; hope the one in the middle of the afternoon with a kid turns out, without too many issues. I am disabled; I can’t walk that much. On Friday, my mum has an appointment, hope she goes, and it’s not raining or snowing. Hope my parents go to the grocery store to get something, before it runs out. Hope to use gift card on Friday, as well. Hope it doesn’t snow until Mid-December.

We hear your heart in this and we are lifting you up together before the Lord in Jesus name. We understand how discouraging it is when technology does not work as it should, when you were trying to help by sending an email and then received anger in return, and when your disability makes the many stairs in your home painful and exhausting. We also hear your hope for the rest of the classes today, for your mum's appointment on Friday, for the grocery needs and for using your gift card, and for good weather.

We want to gently remind you that our hope is not just wishing for things to go smoothly, but placing our trust in our Heavenly Father who cares for every detail of our lives. We are told to not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Phil 4:6-7. We can cast all our worries on him, because he cares for us 1 Pet 5:7.

We also notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are forgiven and brought near to God. We pray you know that nearness and peace today.

We pray for your relationship with your mum. God calls children to honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise Eph 6:2, and He also calls parents not to provoke their children to anger Col 3:21. There was anger and frustration on both sides, and Scripture says Be angry, and do not sin. Do not let the sun go down on your wrath Eph 4:26. We pray for forgiveness and gentleness between you, for understanding about your physical limitations, and for grace to speak to one another with kindness. We pray your mum will see your heart was to help with the DingTalk link, and that you can show her honor even when you feel hurt and tired.

We also pray for your body. We know you are disabled and cannot walk much, and going up and down many stairs is a real burden. God sees this struggle and He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might Isa 40:29. His grace is sufficient for us, for power is made perfect in weakness 2 Cor 12:9. We ask the Lord to protect your legs, to give you strength and relief from pain, and to provide wisdom for how to manage the stairs and the classes in a way that guards your health.

Together we pray for the remaining online classes today, especially the one in the middle of the afternoon, that the links will work without issues and that you will have peace and focus. We pray for your mum's appointment on Friday, that she will be able to go and that the weather will be clear without rain or snow. We pray for your parents' trip to the grocery store, that the Lord will supply what you need before it runs out, for according to His riches He will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Phil 4:19. We pray you will be able to use your gift card as you hope, and we entrust the weather and the coming winter to Him, for He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1.

Father, we lift this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know the frustration of this morning, the hurt from anger, the weariness from the stairs, and the anxiety about what is to come. We ask for Your peace to guard this heart, for healing and strength for the body, for reconciliation and gentle communication with mum, for every online class to go smoothly, for safe travel and provision on Friday, and for Your loving presence to be felt in the home. Help us to trust You with each hope and each worry, knowing You work all things together for good for those who love You Rom 8:28. We ask this in Jesus name, amen.

We hear how much you have been carrying today, and how tiring all those stairs and back-and-forth must have been.

It makes sense you felt torn this morning. You were trying to help by emailing about the DingTalk link when it would not work, and then you caught your mum's frustration about that and something else, plus being sent upstairs when you both wanted to rest. We are glad the link did get resolved and you could come back downstairs, but we understand why you are still upset and worried about your legs with so many trips up and down.

Being disabled and not able to walk a lot makes that kind of day take an even bigger toll, and it is understandable to feel anxious about the other classes today, especially the one in the middle of the afternoon. We are praying that class goes more smoothly and that you can pace yourself and rest between.

We also hear your hopes for Friday, that your mum's appointment goes ahead without rain or snow, that the grocery trip happens before you run out of what you need, and that you get to use your gift card. If the stairs are weighing on your legs, it may be worth mentioning that concern to your own doctor or support person alongside prayer, so you have good guidance for days with extra walking.

It could help to keep what you need for the afternoon class close by downstairs, and when things are calmer, to let your mum know you were just trying to solve the link problem quickly.

Father, we bring our friend to You in Jesus' name. Give rest to tired legs and a tired heart today, calm the worry about the classes and Friday, and bring peace at home. Guide and keep this family in Your care. Amen.

The trials of a single day may seem small to others, yet the Lord sees how they weigh upon a tender and afflicted frame. A broken link, a hasty word, many stairs to climb and to descend again when the legs are weak, these are not light things to one who cannot walk much, and He who numbers our steps knows your infirmity and your weariness.

You have heard of the patience of Job, and you are learning something of what that patience means. It is not the patience of one who does not feel, but the patience of a child who believes in his Father's love, the patience which the Scriptures both inculcate and produce. As it is written, whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope. When vexations multiply at home, when a mother is angered and words are sharp, there is need for that holy patience which endures contradiction without returning it. Our Lord Himself endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself with holy patience, and we are called to consider Him, that we be not weary and faint in our minds.

What we are at home, that we really are, and piety is best tried at the family altar and by the fireside. Seek grace, then, to be gentle under reproof, to forgive as you would be forgiven, and to keep a quiet spirit even when you are forced to do what is painful to the body. Honour for a parent and obedience to parents is comely, but the Lord also pities your weakness, and He would have those who love you to be tender toward your affliction. Pray for your mother as well as for yourself, that peace may be restored between you before the sun goes down, and that love may cover the little strife of this morning.

I will entreat the Great Physician on your behalf, for He heals not only the soul but cares for the body in its infirmities. May He give you strength for each stair and each duty, and grant you rest without fear of further weariness to your limbs. May He prosper the other classes this day, and especially that one in the middle of the afternoon, that it may go forward without hindrance. May He watch over your mother on Friday, and grant fair weather for her appointment, whether rain or snow be kept back by His hand. May He supply your household need at the grocery store before anything fails, and may He allow you with a thankful heart to use what He has provided by the gift card. All things are yours if you are Christ's, and He will withhold no good thing from them that walk uprightly.

Cast your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Be much in prayer, and feed upon the promises until patience has its perfect work. The Lord who preserved Noah and his house, and who keeps covenant with His people still, will keep you and yours. May He give you a calm evening below stairs and a quiet heart above all, and cause hope to rise with the morning.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
