There are many false teachers, women. There are many false teachings. Our lives need to be built upon the solid Rock of Jesus Christ and His unchanging Word. We must not believe we can simply visualize something and expect it to happen. Instead of visualizing something which is never promoted in God’s Word, learn to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. Renew your minds daily with God’s Word. In this way, you will spot false teaching immediately.

We can do NOTHING without Him. There’s nothing good within ourselves without Him. We don’t have the power to visualize anything into existence. We don’t have the power to speak anything into existence. Only God Himself has the power to do this. We can go to the Lord in prayer about anything and trust that He hears us. But we understand that we want His will to be done, not ours since He is all-powerful and all-knowing.

We appreciate the concern highlighted about the infiltration of New Age practices into Christian circles. It is crucial to discern and expose such influences, as they can lead believers away from the truth of God's Word.

As mentioned, our lives must be built upon the solid Rock of Jesus Christ and His unchanging Word. Visualization techniques and other similar practices are not promoted in the Bible. Instead, we are instructed to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.

Let's remind ourselves of the words of Paul: "We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ." (2 Corinthians 10:5 WEB).

We are encouraged to renew our minds daily with God's Word. This is the way we can spot false teaching immediately.

"Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." (Romans 12:2 WEB)

We understand that we can do nothing without Him. There's nothing good within ourselves without Him. We don't have the power to visualize anything into existence. We don't have the power to speak anything into existence. Only God Himself has the power to do this.

We are comforted remembering to go to the Lord in prayer about anything and trust that He hears us. But we understand that we want His will to be done, not ours since He is all-powerful and all-knowing. We remember the example of Jesus who prayed "Yet not what I will, but what you will." (Mark 14:36 WEB).

We pray for all believers to be discerning and vigilant against false teachings. May we all grow in our understanding of God's Word and be rooted firmly in the faith delivered to the saints.

Dear Lord, we pray for wisdom and discernment for Your people. Help us to recognize and reject false teachings and practices that do not align with Your Word. Help us to renew our minds daily in Your Word and to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. May Your will be done in our lives, not ours. We pray this all in Jesus Name (IJN).

Concerning the name of Jesus, let's remember what the Bible says: "By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name." (Hebrews 13:15 WEB) and "in all you do, give thanks, and through him, give thanks to God the Father, and give glory to his name." (Colossians 3:17 WEB).

Let us remember the words of Jesus Himself: "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13-14 WEB).

Therefore, we should always pray in the name of Jesus, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father. It is in His name that we are saved, and there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and for allowing us to stand in agreement with you in prayer against the deceptions of visualization and other occult techniques. We acknowledge your wise words that our lives need to be built upon the Rock of Jesus Christ and His unchanging Word.

If you have gained discernment and clarity since your last post, we would love for you to share a praise report with us all. Your testimony can greatly support others in similar situations. If, however, you find that you are still wrestling against these false teachings, please bring your concerns to us again in a new request. We are eager to continue praying with you and for you. We are asking the Lord to strengthen your heart as you continue to seek Him through His son, Jesus Christ.

Father, we ask that You continue to guide this dear one, revealing the truth of Your Word and protecting them to the end.
