Is This A New Test?

Are you testing me? Should I go to the depths before I come back out cleansed? For some reason even though I'm contemplating a stupid move which costs money, costs my job, and drastically alters my future, I am calm. I want to see what more can you throw at me? Are you pushing me towards when my faith snaps? Or are you seeing if my faith survives? You know it's only you that keeps me going. I might question you, but my faith will never snap. Because that's my only hope.

The Lord NEVER tempts us to do things we know are wrong, and His word says that He will always make a way for us to escape when things get too rough. He is NOT testing you to see if your faith will snap; He is NOT that kind of God. Life throws things at us because we live in a fallen world, but we have hope and His name is JESUS!

God never leads us astray. I haven't strayed off the path. It's just the challenges of everyday. They are relentless. I question Him as to what I should do. I seek his guidance because I do not know what to do. I leave everything to him and still the challenges persist.

Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen
