I hear enthusiastic Christians saying things like,"Before this tv broadcast ends, we could be on to Glory". I also heard,""All the signs are here, there's nothing more to happen, the Rapture could come any time now." Well...in the meantime the broadcasts where Jesus was supposed to collect us were like 25 years ago, and it hasn't happened, and the enthusiastic preachers who said any second now, that was not seconds but years ago,so here's my question...by them getting overenthusiastic about it and making it sound like the Rapture is coming 2 seconds from now,and then it doesn't , isn't that like giving us false hope, and then when it doesn't happen{even years later}, we feel let down? And also doesn't the unbelieving world hear this and get even more cynical?{"Know this, that in the last days scoffers will come, proceeding after their own lusts, saying ,"Where is this promised of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as from the founding of the world."Making it sound like the Rapture is happening 5 seconds from now, and then 20 years later it hasn't happened....wouldn't it be more on track to say, Jesus is coming eventually, and the signs show that it should be in this general time frame--however, we don't know EXACTLY WHEN."{"Concerning that day or hour, no one knows, neither the angels in Heaven or the Son, but only the Father."}"What Jesus ACTUALLY said about the signs,"these things must come to pass, BUT THE END IS NOT YET'.My point? Some Christians who try to act like they know based on their own "feelings", really don't know,And I think acting like they do is misleading, and I don't think it's a good practice.
