### is making me angry

We hear your frustration, and we want to come alongside you in prayer and encouragement. Anger is a natural emotion, but it’s important to address it in a way that honors God. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 4:26-27, *"Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil."* This means we must guard our hearts and respond to frustration with wisdom and self-control.

First, let’s examine the root of this anger. Is it stemming from hurt, injustice, or unmet expectations? Proverbs 15:1 reminds us, *"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."* Instead of reacting in the flesh, we should seek God’s peace and ask Him to help us respond with grace.

Now, regarding the request to "ban" someone—while we understand the desire to distance yourself from negativity, we must be careful not to let bitterness take root. Romans 12:19 says, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’"* Instead of focusing on what others are doing, let’s pray for God’s justice and healing in the situation.

We also want to gently remind you that our battles are not against flesh and blood (Ephesians 6:12). The enemy would love to use this situation to divide, distract, and stir up strife. But we serve a God who is greater! Let’s rebuke any spirit of anger or division in Jesus’ name and ask the Holy Spirit to fill us with peace and wisdom.

Finally, if this situation involves a platform or community where ungodly behavior is being promoted, we should prayerfully consider whether we are called to remain in that space. 2 Corinthians 6:14 warns, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"* If this environment is causing you to stumble or sin in your heart, it may be time to step away for your spiritual well-being.

Let’s pray together:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, acknowledging that without You, we can do nothing. Lord, we lift up this situation and ask for Your peace to guard our hearts and minds. Forgive us for any anger or bitterness that has taken root, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We rebuke any spirit of strife, division, or unforgiveness in Jesus’ name. Father, give us wisdom in how to respond—whether to address this situation with grace or to walk away for our protection. Help us to fix our eyes on You, the Author and Perfecter of our faith. Fill us with Your love, joy, and self-control so that we may reflect Christ in all we do. We trust You to handle every injustice and to bring justice in Your perfect timing. Thank You for Your faithfulness and for never leaving us. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen."*

We encourage you to spend time in God’s Word, allowing His truth to renew your mind. Philippians 4:6-7 says, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Keep your heart anchored in Him, and He will guide your steps.

We're here with you, feeling the frustration. It's okay to feel angry, but let's make sure we're handling it in a way that honors God. In Ephesians 4:26, we're told, "Be angry, and do not sin." Let's not let the sun go down on our anger, but instead, let's seek God's peace and respond with grace.

First, let's try to understand why we're feeling this way. Is it because we've been hurt, or is there some injustice we're seeing? Proverbs 15:1 tells us, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." Instead of reacting in the heat of the moment, let's ask God to help us respond with kindness and understanding.

Now, about the request to "ban" someone. While we understand wanting to distance ourselves from negativity, we should be careful not to let bitterness take root. Romans 12:19 says, "Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: 'It is mine to avenge; I will repay,' says the Lord." Instead of focusing on what others are doing, let's pray for God's justice and healing in the situation.

Remember, our battles aren't against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces (Ephesians 6:12). The enemy would love to use this situation to divide us, but we serve a God who is greater. Let's rebuke any spirit of anger or division in Jesus' name and ask the Holy Spirit to fill us with peace and wisdom.

If this situation involves a platform or community where ungodly behavior is being promoted, we should prayerfully consider whether we're called to remain in that space. 2 Corinthians 6:14 warns us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers. If this environment is causing us to stumble or sin in our hearts, it might be time to step away for our spiritual well-being.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, acknowledging that without You, we can do nothing. Lord, we lift up this situation and ask for Your peace to guard our hearts and minds. Forgive us for any anger or bitterness that has taken root, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We rebuke any spirit of strife, division, or unforgiveness in Jesus' name. Father, give us wisdom in how to respond - whether to address this situation with grace or to walk away for our protection. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Let's spend time in God's Word, allowing His truth to renew our minds. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Keep your heart anchored in Him, and He will guide your steps.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for trusting us with the weight of your heart as you shared your struggle with anger and the temptation to indulge in things that don’t align with God’s best for you. It takes courage to bring such raw emotions before the Lord and His people, and we are honored to have stood in agreement with you in prayer these past days.

Father, we lift this dear one before You again, knowing that anger can feel like a fire that’s hard to control, and old habits can whisper lies that fun is found outside of Your will. But Your Word reminds us that in Your presence is fullness of joy, and at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore (Psalm 16:11). We pray that You would replace frustration with Your peace, and that You would fill every empty place with the joy of Your salvation. Help them to see the goodness of Your ways and to walk in the freedom that comes from surrendering every thought and emotion to You. Strengthen them to resist temptation and to cling to what is pure, lovely, and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8).

If You have already moved in powerful ways since this request was shared, we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If the battle still feels fierce, please don’t hesitate to post this as a new request—we are here to keep praying, keep believing, and keep standing with you. May You draw near to this one as they seek You, filling them with Your Holy Spirit and reminding them that in Christ, they are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37).

We continue to pray for breakthrough, healing, and victory in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
