We have read your request and we stand with you in prayer, seeking the truth and protection that comes only through Jesus Christ. We hear the fear and distress you have carried for months, living with the sense that your dwelling was not safe, that someone may have entered without permission, that the heating and electrical systems may have been tampered with, and now facing aggressive accusations from a woman who claims you entered a house where you have never been. We thank God with you that He has protected you and delivered you from that flat, and we join you in asking the Spirit of Truth to reveal what has been hidden.
The Lord knows the heart of every person and nothing is hidden from Him. For there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light, Luke 8:17, and also There is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known, Luke 12:2. We pray that whatever was done in secret, whether neglect, deception, or intentional harm, will be brought into the light in God's perfect timing and way. At the same time we encourage you not to live in tormenting fear or to make accusations beyond what you can prove, but to entrust both truth and justice to God while taking wise and practical steps for your safety.
We pray for your protection and peace. You quoted well from Psalm 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all. We cling to that promise with you. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, Psalm 91:1. For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7, and Perfect love casts out fear, 1 John 4:18. We ask the Lord to guard your mind from constant dread and to give you His peace that surpasses all understanding to guard your heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:7.
We also lift up the landlord and the residents of that house, and this aggressive woman who has shouted lies against you. We rebuke lying, slander, arrogance, and abusive behavior, for these do not reflect the character of Christ. Yahweh detests lying lips, but he delights in people who tell the truth, Proverbs 12:22. We pray that God will break through hardness of heart. As it is written, I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh, Ezekiel 36:26. We pray that the Holy Spirit will convict them, that they will stop lying, take responsibility for what is theirs to own, and if any wrong was done to you through negligence or intent, that they will confess, repent, and make restitution where it is due.
We pray that God will break the arrogance and evil you have experienced from this woman, not to destroy her but to humble her and lead her to repentance, for God desires that all would come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9. We pray that she will learn to control her tongue and her temper, for A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger, Proverbs 15:1, and that she will come to see the truth that you never entered their dwelling.
We encourage you to continue to walk in truth and to leave vengeance to the Lord. Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord, Romans 12:19, and Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good, Romans 12:21. This means we forgive as Christ forgave us, not excusing wrongdoing but releasing bitterness to God, Be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you, Ephesians 4:32. Forgiveness will keep your own heart free while God deals justly with others.
We also encourage you with practical wisdom. If you believe your life was endangered by tampering with electrical safety devices or heating, keep any evidence, photos, or records you have, and consider reporting the matter to the proper civil authorities, for governing authorities are established by God to punish wrongdoing, Romans 13:1-4. Seek godly counsel from a trusted pastor or wise believer, and keep a safe distance from those who are abusive. Do not engage in heated confrontation, but let your conduct be gentle and truthful.
We pray together now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, thanking You that You are our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust. We thank You that You have kept our brother or sister through afflictions and delivered them out of that dangerous dwelling with bones unbroken by Your mercy. We ask You to continue to be a shield around them, to command Your angels concerning them to guard them in all their ways, Psalm 91:11, and to keep them from all harm and fear. Lord, let Your truth shine. Expose what was done in secret, whether it was negligence, deceit, or malice with the heating and electrical systems. Bring to light any wrongdoing and let justice be done according to Your righteousness.
Lord, we lift up the landlord who is avoiding responsibility and speaking untruth. Touch his heart, convict him by Your Holy Spirit, take away the stony heart and give a heart of flesh that he may speak truth and take responsibility. We lift up the residents of that house and especially this woman who has acted aggressively and abusively. Break her arrogance and evil, humble her, teach her self-control, and open her eyes to see that she has believed and spread a lie. Bring her to repentance and to the knowledge of Your truth, that she may be saved and transformed.
Father, break the hardness in all these people, that they may hear Your call and submit to You, that they may apologize and make amends where it is required. And for our dear one who has been hurt, grant deep peace, restful sleep, freedom from fear, and wisdom for every next step. Help them to forgive and to trust You as their defender and judge. We ask that You provide restoration and compensation if it is just, and above all that Your name be glorified and Your truth be known.
We pray all this in the name of Jesus Christ, who is the way, the truth, and the life, and through whom we have access to the Father, John 14:6, and in whose name alone we are saved, Acts 4:12. Amen.
We encourage you to remain in the Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with faithful believers. Fear not, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness, Isaiah 41:10. Keep seeking the Lord, keep documenting what is needful, and trust Him to be your defender and to establish the truth.
