Is it possible this aggressive woman might have hired people to kill me? Spirit of Truth, Jesus shows us the truth...

Beloved of All
I asked a lot of prayers because of a life-threatening electrical problem in my rented apartment. Thank God, I survived and moved out. But the story hasn't seemed to end there.
While I was living in the apartment, I noticed that someone might have entered it several times, as evidenced by the position of the lock and some other signs. After many months and much unclear communication, it seems possible that they intentionally tried to kill me. I don't know for sure. Only God knows what is in their hearts and what their intentions are, but it is written in Psalms 34:21–23: Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken. Affliction will slay the wicked, and those who hate the righteous will be condemned. Last week, a woman I had never spoken to before came up to me angrily and shouted lies and accusations at me. She said that I had entered the house where she and the ex-landlord live. She heard this from someone else and tried to accuse me and destroy me. Thank God the Lord protected me again. Please pray for the residents of the house so that they can see the truth, because I never entered their apartment. However, it is highly likely that someone entered the apartment while I was living in that life-threatening flat. If this woman hired technicians to damage the heating system and disconnect consumers from the RCD, causing electric shocks during showers, then I pray that this is exposed. However this happened, God will show the truth. The landlord is avoiding me and is not willing to speak to me. NO REMORSE! Please pray that the Holy Spirit touches him so that he stops lying and takes responsibility!

These people have not apologised to me or compensated me after nearly three months of moving out. Please pray. May God break their hardness. May they have a heart of flesh. May they hear His call. May they submit to Him.

Update:
She cannot control herself and she is abusive. Please pray that God breaks her arrogance and evil.

We have heard your cry and we stand with you together before the Lord in Jesus' name, thanking God that He delivered you from that life threatening electrical danger in your rented apartment and brought you out safely. We continue to lift you up as the distress from what followed still weighs heavily on you, and we ask the Spirit of Truth to lead you into all truth as Jesus promised in John 16:13.

We understand the fear that comes when you have seen signs that someone may have entered your home, when you have suffered electric shocks while showering, and when you now face angry accusations and aggression from a woman you did not know. The Lord sees what is hidden and knows every heart and intention. As you quoted, Psalm 34:19 says Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all. Psalm 34:20 says He keeps all his bones. Not one of them is broken. And we cling to Luke 8:17 that nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light. We pray that whatever was done in secret concerning the heating system and the disconnecting of protection, if there was intentional harm, will be exposed in God's perfect timing, and that the truth will be made clear to all, including the residents of that house.

We also remember that you were falsely accused of entering a house where you never entered, and we thank God that He protected you again in that confrontation. We pray for those residents that their eyes would be opened to the truth and that lies and gossip would be silenced. We pray for the former landlord who is avoiding you and showing no remorse, that the Holy Spirit would convict him deeply, that He would give him a new heart as promised in Ezekiel 36:26, I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh, so that he would stop lying and take responsibility for what happened.

We lift up this aggressive woman who has shouted lies at you and who cannot control herself. We pray not only that God would break her arrogance and abusive behavior, but that He would break her hardness and bring her to repentance. Jesus calls us in Matthew 5:44 to love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. We pray for her salvation and transformation, that she would submit to the Lord and hear His call, and that evil would be restrained in her life.

In your fear that someone may have hired people to harm you, we pray for the Lord's perfect protection over you. Psalm 91:1 says He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:2 says I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. Proverbs 29:25 reminds us The fear of man proves to be a snare, but whoever puts his trust in Yahweh is kept safe. We pray that God would remove a spirit of fear and give you power, love and self control as in 2 Timothy 1:7, and that you would cast all your worries on Him because He cares for you as in 1 Peter 5:7. We also encourage you with Philippians 4:6-7 not to be anxious but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving to let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We also encourage you in practical wisdom while trusting the Lord. If you believe your life has been threatened or your home was entered unlawfully, it is right to document everything carefully, keep a record of dates and evidence, keep distance from those who are aggressive, and seek help from the proper authorities who are appointed by God to protect and to investigate, as Romans 13:4 teaches. Do not return to that dangerous place or engage in heated confrontation, but let God be your defender. Romans 12:19 says Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord. We must leave justice in His hands and not harbor bitterness, and Ephesians 4:32 calls us to be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.

We thank God that you have called on the name of Jesus, the Spirit of Truth, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We rest in that name together.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You for saving our dear one from the electrical danger and for keeping all their bones. We ask You to surround them with Your angels and be their refuge and fortress. Expose what has been done in darkness, bring the truth into the light, and let no lie stand. Touch the heart of the former landlord, convict him of sin and lead him to speak truth and to make right what was wrong. Soften the hearts of all the residents of that house, remove hardness and give them hearts of flesh that hear Your voice. Restrain the abusive woman, break her arrogance and evil, humble her and bring her to repentance and to the knowledge of Your mercy. Guard our loved one from all harm, grant them peace that surpasses understanding, wisdom to act prudently, and grace to forgive as You have forgiven us. Let Your justice and Your mercy be done, and let Your name be glorified. We ask all this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and our deliverer, amen.

We were sorry to read what you have been through, the danger with the electricity in that apartment, the shocks in the shower, and then having to move and still carry the accusations and the silence from your landlord. It makes sense that you would still feel unsafe and on edge after all of that, especially when a stranger confronted you with claims that are not true.

We do not know what was in anyone’s heart or what caused the electrical problems, only God does. When we have been through a frightening experience, it is easy for every new conflict to feel like part of the same threat. Whatever the truth is, we pray God keeps you safe and brings what is hidden into the light in His way and time.

A couple of steady next steps may help you find more peace. Keep a simple written record of dates and what happened, keep distance from direct confrontation with the woman who shouted at you, and if you need clarity about the apartment or any compensation, consider talking it through once with a trusted pastor or a wise legal advisor rather than trying to get answers alone from the landlord. You do not have to prove everything yourself.

We hear your longing for an apology and for them to take responsibility. Wanting that is natural. Forgiveness before God is a decision to release the right to pay back and to place justice in His hands, which is different from having to rebuild a relationship or stay in contact. You can choose that release over time while still keeping healthy boundaries.

Father, we lift our brother to You. Guard him, calm his heart and his home, give him wisdom for each conversation and each decision, and work in the hearts of all involved so truth and responsibility are honored. Soften what is hard and lead him in Your peace. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Your letter has been read with much prayerful heaviness of heart, and with thanksgiving that the Lord has preserved your life through a most perilous danger. To have endured electric shocks in the place where you should have been safe, to have lived for months with that fear, and then to be delivered from it, is cause to say with the Psalmist, Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. Faith takes a bright and cheerful view even after such trial and says, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. We bless God that you live to declare them.

You speak of signs that others may have entered your former dwelling, of a heating system tampered with and safety devices disconnected, and of hard words and false accusations now spoken against you by one you had never before met. These things have left you shaken and full of questions, and you rightly say, Only God knows what is in their hearts. He looks into the soul's secrets and is not deceived by words and professions, but knows the truth of every thought and way. What is hidden from you is naked and open before Him.

It is right that you should desire truth to be made manifest. We will pray that what has been done in secret shall be brought to light, that if wrong has been done through negligence or through wicked intent, it shall be exposed and dealt with justly. We will pray also that the Lord who is your keeper will continue to be your shield, that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and that He will restrain every abusive tongue and every arrogant hand. Like a careful dispenser He measures every trial for His people, not in anger but from His dear covenant love, and even this distress He can make to work for good.

Yet we would counsel you, as one who has felt the poisoned arrow of fear, to wait only upon God for your expectation. Jacob prayed, Deliver me, I pray, from the hand of my brother, for I fear him, and the Lord heard him. You may bring the same prayer before the throne, casting your fear and your suspicion upon Him who judges righteously. Leave vengeance in His hands, and seek what lawful and wise means are available to you for protection and for a just accounting, that truth may be established not by strife but by sober inquiry. If there is need of earthly help, seek the counsel of those in authority who are appointed to protect life and to examine such dangers.

We hear your cry that those who have shown no remorse may have their hardness broken. We will pray that the Holy Spirit will touch the landlord and all involved, that He will take away the heart of stone and give a heart of flesh, that they may be led to speak truth, to take responsibility, and to make amends where amends are due. We will pray likewise for the woman whose anger has wounded you, that her arrogance and abusive speech may be broken, not that she may be destroyed, but that she may be humbled, convinced of sin, and brought to seek forgiveness both from God and from you. For we know that the sentence of justice has been fulfilled upon our Lord Jesus Christ, and that through His atoning blood there is plenteous redemption even for those who have done great wrong, if they will but say, I have sinned and perverted that which was right.

May the Lord grant you quietness of spirit. Do not let fearful imaginings consume you, but remember that while God's own people are chastened, they are never forsaken, and there is nothing punitive now in the troubles of those who are in Christ, for He has borne the penalty. Seek Him daily in His Word, which is His infallible truth, and rest in the covenant of grace and the immutable love of the ever blessed Three in One.

We pray now for you:

O Lord our God, who has delivered our brother from the grave and kept his bones, we thank You for his life preserved. You know the truth concerning that dwelling and all that was done there. Bring to light what must be known, restrain evil, and let justice be done. Put a guard about Your servant and give him peace that passes understanding. Convict those who have dealt falsely or harshly, grant them repentance and a heart to do what is right, and break the power of pride and abusive anger. Lead all hearts to truth in the inward parts, and teach us to trust not in ourselves but in Christ, who alone is our salvation, our righteousness, and our deliverance from the pit. Keep us from fear and make us faithful to the Gospel of the grace of God, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
