I asked a lot of prayers because of a life-threatening electrical problem in my rented apartment. Thank God, I survived and moved out. But the story hasn't seemed to end there.
While I was living in the apartment, I noticed that someone might have entered it several times, as evidenced by the position of the lock and some other signs. After many months and much unclear communication, it seems possible that they intentionally tried to kill me. I don't know for sure. Only God knows what is in their hearts and what their intentions are, but it is written in Psalms 34:21–23: Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken. Affliction will slay the wicked, and those who hate the righteous will be condemned. Last week, a woman I had never spoken to before came up to me angrily and shouted lies and accusations at me. She said that I had entered the house where she and the ex-landlord live. She heard this from someone else and tried to accuse me and destroy me. Thank God the Lord protected me again. Please pray for the residents of the house so that they can see the truth, because I never entered their apartment. However, it is highly likely that someone entered the apartment while I was living in that life-threatening flat. If this woman hired technicians to damage the heating system and disconnect consumers from the RCD, causing electric shocks during showers, then I pray that this is exposed. However this happened, God will show the truth. The landlord is avoiding me and is not willing to speak to me. NO REMORSE! Please pray that the Holy Spirit touches him so that he stops lying and takes responsibility!

These people have not apologised to me or compensated me after nearly three months of moving out. Please pray. May God break their hardness. May they have a heart of flesh. May they hear His call. May they submit to Him.

We have heard your cry and we have lifted you before the throne of grace, thanking God with you that He has preserved your life through that dangerous electrical situation and brought you out of that apartment. We continue to stand with you in prayer for truth to be revealed and for protection, for justice, and for the softening of hard hearts.

We understand the fear and distress you have carried, wondering if someone entered your apartment, wondering if the electrical danger was intentional, and then being confronted so aggressively and falsely accused by a woman you had never even spoken to. It is deeply unsettling to be lied about and threatened, and to feel that those responsible show no remorse and will not speak to you. We pray that the Spirit of Truth will indeed make all things clear, for Jesus said When he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth John 16:13. Nothing is hidden from the Lord, and He will bring to light what has been done in darkness.

We cling with you to the promise you quoted, Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all. He protects all of his bones. Not one of them is broken Psalm 34:19-20. And we also remember He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust Psalm 91:1-2. The Lord has been your refuge already and we pray He continues to be your shield. We pray that no weapon formed against you will prosper and that every lying tongue that rises against you in judgment will be shown to be false.

We pray now together for you and for this situation.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we come before You with our brother who has endured danger, fear, and false accusation. We thank You that You kept him from death when the electrical system was failing, and that You delivered him out of that place. We ask for Your perfect protection over him now. Guard his body, his home, and his peace. Command Your angels concerning him to keep him in all his ways Psalm 91:11. Remove fear from his heart and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. Expose the truth, Lord. If there was negligence, deceit, or intentional harm with the heating and the RCD and the electric shocks, bring it into the light so that it can be addressed justly. Let no lie stand. Touch the hearts of the landlord and this woman and the other residents. Take away the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh Ezekiel 36:26. Break through hardness, arrogance, and anger. Bring them to conviction, to honesty, to repentance, and to take responsibility for what has been done. Silence the abusive and accusing spirit and let this woman be delivered from anger and control. Let her see that she has believed and spread a false report. We pray also for our brother to walk in forgiveness even while seeking truth, that he would not be consumed by bitterness. Help him to entrust justice to You and to the proper authorities You have ordained. Lead him with wisdom in every practical step he should take. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We want to encourage you to continue to trust the Lord as your defender while also acting with wisdom. God calls us not to avenge ourselves but to give place to His justice, for it is written Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19. That does not mean we remain silent when wrong has been done. If you believe your life was endangered by tampering or gross negligence, and if you now feel threatened by this woman's aggression and accusations, we encourage you to document everything carefully, keep any evidence, photos, messages, and reports about the electrical problems, and to seek godly counsel and also lawful help. It is right to report dangerous housing conditions and threatening behavior to the proper local authorities and to seek legal advice about compensation and safety. The Lord often establishes justice through those authorities. Also stay at a safe distance from that house and those individuals, do not engage in argument, but bless those who curse you and pray for those who mistreat you Luke 6:28 and Matthew 5:44.

We also pray for your own heart, that the Lord will heal the trauma of living for months in danger and then being falsely accused. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. Do not let fear that they have hired people to harm you torment you day and night. The Lord is your light and your salvation; whom shall you fear? Yahweh is the strength of your life; of whom shall you be afraid Psalm 27:1. Bring every anxious thought to Him, for He cares for you and He promises Fear not, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We are praying that the Holy Spirit will convict the landlord who is avoiding you, that he will stop hiding and lying and will speak truthfully and make what is right. We are praying that the woman who shouted lies at you will be humbled, that her arrogance and abusive behavior will be broken, not to destroy her but to save her, that she may repent and find mercy. And we pray that the residents of that house will see clearly that you never entered their dwelling and that the truth will vindicate you.

Continue to seek the Lord daily, remain in His Word, and stay in fellowship with other believers who can support you and pray with you face to face. We know God will work even this painful trial for good as you love Him and are called according to His purpose Romans 8:28. We stand with you for complete truth, complete protection, and for hearts of flesh to replace hearts of stone.

We have been reading what you have carried these past months and we are so sorry for how heavy and unsettling it has been. To live for a time with a dangerous electrical problem, then to move and still feel unsafe and accused, would leave anyone on edge. It makes sense you are looking to the Lord for truth and protection.

We are thankful you are out of that apartment now and that you were kept safe. Being shouted at by someone you do not know, especially with false accusations, can feel very threatening. We hear how much you want the truth to be clear and for those involved to take responsibility.

In this season it may help to keep some steady boundaries for your own peace. When possible, avoid being alone with those who have been aggressive toward you, keep a simple written note of dates and what was said if further contact happens, and lean on a trusted pastor or wise friend nearby who can walk with you as you consider any next steps about the former tenancy. If you ever feel in immediate danger, please reach out right away to your local emergency services and to someone you trust close by. Having that support close can also help you sort what is known from what is still unclear, and what steps are wise next.

We pray for you now. Father, we bring our brother to You in Jesus name. Cover him with Your protection and give him quiet rest and clear wisdom. Let truth come to light in Your way and Your time. Soften hard hearts where there has been hardness, and guard all involved from further harm. Lead our brother day by day and keep him close to You. Amen.

Your afflictions have been laid before the Lord, and we join you in thanking Him that He has preserved your life and delivered you from that perilous dwelling. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all, and He keeps all his bones. That promise in Psalm 34 has been your experience, and we pray it shall be so still.

The Lord knows what is done in secret. When the waters of affliction have covered all the earth, then we fly back to our Ark and find rest for the sole of our foot. He who grants protection to the persecuted and provides an escape from the most perilous exposure sees the position of the lock and the hidden work upon the wires as clearly as He sees the heart. Full often the darkest conspiracy is brought to the direst confusion, and no lie can stand before the Spirit of Truth. We pray that what is true may be brought to light, and what is false may be confounded, for the Lord will perfect that which concerneth you.

We lift you up for continued safety and peace, that fear may not have dominion over you, and that you may draw from the present living water with which to moisten the arid desert of the future. If there has been wrongdoing concerning the heating system and the protection against electric shock, we ask the Lord to expose it and to restrain all harm. We also counsel you, as a matter of Christian prudence, to commit these matters to those appointed to keep order and to preserve life, that truth may be established by lawful and sober means, while you leave vengeance in the hands of Him to whom it belongs.

We pray also for those of whom you complain, for the landlord who avoids you and for the woman who has accused you with angry and abusive words. We do not ask God to vindicate falsehood or to bless hardness of heart. We ask that the Holy Ghost would work in them according to His purifying operations, that He would break the stony heart and give a heart of flesh, that He would bring them to see truth and to speak truth, to take responsibility where responsibility is due, and above all to see their need of being born again. Apart from God there is nothing for us but destruction, and apart from Christ there is no acceptable approach to God. Every harsh word which proceeds from the lips says imperfection, and perfection is to be found only in the second Adam, the Lord Jesus Christ, who kept the law in every jot and tittle and wove a righteousness which covers the sinner from head to foot.

May the Lord who lifts the poor from the dunghill and casts down the mighty from their seats teach all concerned to hate lying and to love truth, to turn from arrogance and to seek mercy. We pray that they may hear His call and submit to Him, that they may find forgiveness through the efficacious blood of Jesus and not be condemned as those who hate the righteous. And for you, may you be kept in full assurance of faith, having your heart sprinkled from an evil conscience, trusting not in your own righteousness but in His, and learning that even this severe treatment may become a salutary discipline by which the Lord weans you from Egypt and draws you nearer to Himself.

We ask these things by Him, for apart from Christ there is no acceptable prayer, but by Him we may come boldly and offer continually the sacrifice of praise.

Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality.
