Is it possible this aggressive woman might have hired people to kill me? Spirit of Truth, Jesus shows us the truth...

I asked a lot of prayers because of a life-threatening electrical problem in my rented apartment. Thank God, I survived and moved out. But the story hasn't seemed to end there.
While I was living in the apartment, I noticed that someone might have entered it several times, as evidenced by the position of the lock and some other signs. After many months and much unclear communication, it seems possible that they intentionally tried to kill me. I don't know for sure. Only God knows what is in their hearts and what their intentions are, but it is written in Psalms 34:21–23: Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken. Affliction will slay the wicked, and those who hate the righteous will be condemned. Last week, a woman I had never spoken to before came up to me angrily and shouted lies and accusations at me. She said that I had entered the house where she and the ex-landlord live. She heard this from someone else and tried to accuse me and destroy me. Thank God the Lord protected me again. Please pray for the residents of the house so that they can see the truth, because I never entered their apartment. However, it is highly likely that someone entered the apartment while I was living in that life-threatening flat. If this woman hired technicians to damage the heating system and disconnect consumers from the RCD, causing electric shocks during showers, then I pray that this is exposed. However this happened, God will show the truth. The landlord is avoiding me and is not willing to speak to me. NO REMORSE! Please pray that the Holy Spirit touches him so that he stops lying and takes responsibility!

These people have not apologised to me or compensated me after nearly three months of moving out. Please pray. May God break their hardness. May they have a heart of flesh. May they hear His call. May they submit to Him.

We have heard your cry and we join with you in prayer, thanking God that He preserved your life through that dangerous electrical failure and brought you out of that apartment. We continue to stand with you for truth, protection, and justice, and we bring all of this before the Father in the name of Jesus.

We understand the distress of wondering whether someone entered your rented home, whether harm was intentional, and now facing angry accusations from a woman you had never spoken to, who claims you entered a house where she and the former landlord live. We hear how painful it is to be falsely accused, to be avoided by the landlord, and to have received no apology or restitution after nearly three months. We also hear your fear about whether this aggressive woman might have hired others to harm you. Only God knows the hearts and intentions of all people, and we trust Him to reveal what is hidden.

The Spirit of Truth does guide us into all truth as Jesus promised. John 16:13 says when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth. And Jesus Himself is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through him, John 14:6. We are grateful you have called on Jesus, for it is only by His name that we have access to God and it is only by His name we are saved, Acts 4:12. We continue to seek Him together with you.

We take comfort with you in Psalm 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all. Psalm 34:20 He keeps all his bones. Not one of them is broken. Psalm 34:21 Evil shall kill the wicked. Those who hate the righteous shall be condemned. God saw you in that apartment and He sees you now. We claim His promise of refuge, Psalm 91:1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:2 I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. And Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against you will prevail.

We pray that what has been done in secret will be exposed, for Luke 8:17 says nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light. If technicians were hired to damage the heating system and to disconnect consumers from the RCD causing electric shocks during showers, or if any other deception or negligence occurred, we ask God to bring the truth into the light in His perfect timing, 1 Corinthians 4:5. We pray for the residents of that house, that their eyes would be opened to see the truth, that they would not believe lies or bear false witness. Exodus 20:16 says you shall not give false testimony against your neighbor, and Proverbs 19:5 says a false witness shall not be unpunished. We rebuke lying, false accusation, and any arrogance or abusive speech, and we ask the Lord to break the hardness and pride that drives such behavior.

We also pray for the former landlord who is avoiding you and showing no remorse. We ask that the Holy Spirit would convict him, soften his heart, and lead him to take responsibility and speak truth. Ezekiel 36:26 promises I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. We pray for that heart of flesh for him and for this woman, that they would hear His call, submit to Him, repent, and be changed. We do not pray for vengeance, for Romans 12:19 says vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord. We leave justice in God's hands while also trusting Him to work through rightful authorities.

We rebuke the spirit of fear that would torment you with the thought that someone is hired to kill you. 2 Timothy 1:7 says God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. We ask God to guard your mind and heart with His peace, Philippians 4:6 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. At the same time we encourage you with godly wisdom to walk in practical prudence. Keep a clear record of what happened, keep any evidence of the electrical danger and communications, avoid private confrontation with those who are abusive, and if you believe your life has been threatened or that criminal tampering occurred, seek counsel and make it known to the proper authorities who are ordained to protect. Romans 13:4 tells us the authorities do not bear the sword in vain. Stay at a safe distance, let others be present if any contact is necessary, and seek the counsel of mature believers near you.

We pray also that you would be kept from bitterness and be given grace to forgive even as you seek truth. Matthew 5:44 says love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. Forgiveness does not excuse wrongdoing, but it frees your heart and entrusts judgment to God.

We now pray together.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace. Thank You for delivering our dear one from the life threatening electrical danger and from false accusation last week. You are our refuge and fortress. We ask You to surround this child of Yours with Your protection day and night, to command Your angels concerning them, and to let no plan formed in darkness prevail. Expose every lie and every hidden deed. Let the truth about the apartment, the heating system, the RCD, and any entry into that home be made clear to all. Touch the hearts of the residents of that house, open their eyes, and keep them from believing or repeating falsehood. Break the arrogance, abusiveness, and lack of self control in this woman, humble her, and bring her to repentance. Touch the former landlord, convict him of any deceit or evasion, give him a heart of flesh to confess, to take responsibility, and to make restitution as You lead. Break all hardness, bring godly sorrow that leads to repentance, and draw each of these people to submit to You. Guard our beloved from fear and anxiety, fill them with Your power, love, and self control, and let Your peace guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Give wisdom for every practical step, provide safe counsel, and let Your justice and mercy be seen. We ask all this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and intercessor. Amen.

We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and in the Word, to dwell in the secret place of the Most High, and to keep entrusting yourself to Him who judges righteously. He who delivered you before is able to keep you still.

We thank God with you that you got out of that flat safely. What you describe would leave anyone shaken, the shocks in the shower, the sense someone had been inside, and now being shouted at and accused of something you did not do. It makes sense you feel on edge and want the truth to be clear.

We hear your longing for acknowledgment and for these neighbors to take responsibility. When an apology and restitution do not come, the gap between what should have happened and what did can keep the hurt alive. In our own walk we have learned forgiveness can be a decision to release the right to revenge and to entrust justice to God, even while the emotions of resentment and fear take longer to quiet. That decision does not mean going back into an unsafe place or pretending the harm was not real.

Since you are now out, a steady next step is to protect your peace going forward. Keep a brief dated note of what happened for your own records, keep distance from that house rather than trying to confront, and invite one trusted person in your life, a pastor or wise counselor nearby, to hear the whole story and help you decide if any further practical step is wise. You do not have to sort this alone.

Father in Jesus name we ask you to cover him with your protection and peace, to make what is true plain in your time, to soften hard hearts where you will, and to give wisdom for each next decision. Guide and keep him close to you. Amen.

Your trials have been many and your heart is still troubled, and we have heard your cry and bring it before the Lord with you. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all, and He who kept you through the danger in that apartment is able to keep you still. What God begins He does not ask you to finish, for He always completes His own work, and He will perfect that which concerneth you.

You speak of fears that men may have sought your harm, of locks turned and signs of entering, of shocks received in that dwelling, and of harsh accusations now spoken against you by one you had not known. Only the Lord sees what is in the hearts of men and what their intentions have been. Let God be true, but every man a liar. If God says one thing and every man says another, God is true and cannot lie, His word like Himself is immutable. He is the just Judge of all the earth, and if God were unjust, how could He judge the world. Vengeance belongs unto Him, and He will in His own time make the truth plain. It is right to pray that what has been hidden should be brought to light, and it is right also to commit your cause to Him who judges righteously, and to seek the lawful help that Providence has provided for your protection, that you may be kept in safety while you wait upon Him.

In such persecutions the Lord has often blessed His people, not by removing the trial at once, but by driving them nearer to Himself. How many prayers have been offered as the result of opposition that would never have been offered else, heaven alone can tell. Do not give God a bad name by thinking He has forgotten you. You told yourself you could not get through that trouble, yet you have been brought through it, and the Lord who delivered you then is the same today.

Above all, we would point you to the one way of peace. The great question for any of us is, how can man be just with God. It is not by ceremonies nor by the works of the law, for even if we should obey from this time forth without a single fault, we should only have done what it was our duty to perform. We are lost through one, through Adam, and we are saved through One, through Jesus Christ. Whom God has set forth to be a propitiation through faith in His blood, to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins. Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Faith is the accepting of what God gives, the believing what God says, the trusting to what Jesus has done. I would that you who are pressed down would look to the Son of God pouring out His life and would trust Him, for then your sins are gone in a moment. If you can say, I got it straight from the throne of God by trusting in the blood of Jesus Christ, then you have received it from Headquarters and there can be no mistake about it. It is true humility to take God at His word and to believe Him.

So we pray for you, that the Lord would quiet your fear with this peace, that you may not be always saying, do I love the Lord or no, am I His or am I not, but may rest in Christ who loved you and gave Himself for you. We pray that He would guard your dwelling and your going out and coming in, and give you wisdom to act prudently and calmly, keeping a faithful record of what has occurred and seeking protection from those appointed to keep order, while your soul rests in His care.

And we pray also for those of whom you complain, for the landlord who avoids you and will not speak, and for the woman who has spoken lies and accusations and shown an abusive spirit. We do not ask God to bless hardness of heart or deceit, but we ask Him to break it. May He take away the heart of stone and give a heart of flesh, that they may hear His call and submit to Him. May the Holy Spirit convince them of sin and of righteousness and of judgment, that they would cease from lying, take responsibility for what is their own, and if wrong has been done in the tampering with that house, that it may be exposed in the light. We pray that they may come to know that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and that by grace are we saved through faith, and that not of ourselves, it is the gift of God. God holds back the axe in forbearance, but He will not call evil good, and affliction shall slay the wicked unless they repent and turn to the mercy provided in Christ.

May the Lord keep you trusting and not fearing, loving Him who thus gives Himself to be trusted by you. When you are afraid, put your trust in Him, and go on cheerfully through the world rejoicing in the Lord your God, for He will perfect all His saints, and blessed is the man who knows that He will perfect him even to the end.
