Is it possible this aggressive woman might have hired people to kill me? Spirit of Truth, Jesus shows us the truth...

Kensem

Beloved of All
I asked a lot of prayers because of a life-threatening electrical problem in my rented apartment. Thank God, I survived and moved out. But the story hasn't seemed to end there.
While I was living in the apartment, I noticed that someone might have entered it several times, as evidenced by the position of the lock and some other signs. After many months and much unclear communication, it seems possible that they intentionally tried to kill me. I don't know for sure. Only God knows what is in their hearts and what their intentions are, but it is written in Psalms 34:21–23: Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken. Affliction will slay the wicked, and those who hate the righteous will be condemned. Last week, a woman I had never spoken to before came up to me angrily and shouted lies and accusations at me. She said that I had entered the house where she and the ex-landlord live. She heard this from someone else and tried to accuse me and destroy me. Thank God the Lord protected me again. Please pray for the residents of the house so that they can see the truth, because I never entered their apartment. However, it is highly likely that someone entered the apartment while I was living in that life-threatening flat. If this woman hired technicians to damage the heating system and disconnect consumers from the RCD, causing electric shocks during showers, then I pray that this is exposed. However this happened, God will show the truth. The landlord is avoiding me and is not willing to speak to me. NO REMORSE! Please pray that the Holy Spirit touches him so that he stops lying and takes responsibility!

These people have not apologised to me or compensated me after nearly three months of moving out. Please pray. May God break their hardness. May they have a heart of flesh. May they hear His call. May they submit to Him.

We join with you in thanking God that He preserved your life through that dangerous electrical hazard and brought you safely out of that apartment, and we continue to seek His will together with you in Jesus' name for truth, protection, and justice to prevail.

We hear the distress and confusion you have carried for many months, the signs that someone may have entered your rented apartment, the severe risk from the heating system and the RCD being bypassed causing electric shocks, and now the painful confrontation with this woman who shouted accusations against you and the silence and avoidance of your former landlord. Only God fully knows the hearts and intentions of all involved, and we take comfort that nothing is hidden from Him. You rightly called upon the Spirit of Truth, and Jesus Himself promised this, Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth John 16:13, and Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. It is through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that truth is revealed and we are protected.

We are reminded of the psalm you quoted, Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones. Not one of them is broken. Evil shall kill the wicked. Those who hate the righteous shall be condemned Psalm 34:19-21. We also cling to He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust Psalm 91:1-2, and No weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17. These promises do not mean we will not face affliction or false accusation, but that God is our refuge and He will deliver and vindicate in His perfect time and way.

We pray together for you and for all involved.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You with thanksgiving that You kept our brother alive when his life was in danger from electricity and that You protected him again when he was falsely accused. Lord, You see all that has happened in that apartment, whether there was negligence, deceit, or intentional harm in tampering with the heating and safety devices, and You know the truth about who entered where and why. We ask that You expose what is hidden and bring the truth into the light, for You have said The truth will make you free John 8:32. We ask for Your protection over him now, that no plan formed against him would prosper, and that You would give him peace and guard his heart from fear. We pray for the former landlord, for this aggressive woman, and for the residents of that house, that You would touch their hearts according to Your promise I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh Ezekiel 36:26. Soften their hardness, convict them where there has been lying, avoidance, or wrongdoing, and lead them to remorse, repentance, honesty, and to take responsibility where it is due. If compensation or apology is just, move them to do what is right. We also pray that You would help our brother to walk in forgiveness and not be overcome by bitterness or fear, for You have said Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19, and You have called us to Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you Luke 6:27-28. Give him wisdom to act prudently, to document what has happened, and if there remains a genuine threat to life or evidence of criminal tampering, give him courage to seek help through the proper authorities whom You have appointed for protection Romans 13:4, while trusting You as the ultimate Judge. Restore to him what has been lost in Your way and time, and let Your peace which surpasses understanding guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to entrust this matter to the Lord while also acting with wisdom. Do not carry the burden of trying to prove every intention on your own, and be careful not to return accusation for accusation without clear evidence, but commit your cause to Him who judges righteously. Keep a careful record of what occurred, keep any evidence of the electrical danger and communications, and if you have not already, consider seeking godly counsel and, where appropriate, lawful advice about how to report a life threatening hazard and to protect yourself going forward, for God often uses lawful means to bring truth to light and to restrain evil. At the same time, guard your heart against prolonged anxiety and bitterness by daily casting your cares on Him and praying for those who have opposed you, that they may come to see the truth and submit to Him. We thank God for your faith in seeking the Spirit of Truth and we will continue to pray that the Lord delivers you out of all affliction, breaks the hardness you have encountered, and leads all involved into the light of His truth and mercy in Jesus' name.

Thank you for sharing so honestly what you have been carrying. Surviving a dangerous electrical situation in your own home and then having to move is a lot to go through, and we understand why you still feel unsettled with unanswered questions, accusations from someone you did not know, and no apology or resolution from the landlord.

It makes sense that the gap between what you hoped would happen, an honest conversation, responsibility taken, some care shown, and what actually happened would leave you feeling hurt and on edge, replaying what might have happened and what it meant. In that kind of place many people find it helps to separate two things. One is a quiet decision not to keep pursuing payback in our own hearts, which we can make before feelings have caught up. The other is the slower softening of the emotions themselves, resentment, fear, anger, which often takes longer and comes and goes. Neither one means you have to put yourself back in an unsafe situation or pretend a relationship is restored.

For the days ahead, we encourage you to stay anchored in steady, safe community. Keep a simple factual record of dates and contacts if you need it later, and if you want to pursue questions about the apartment, consider doing that through a trusted pastor or a local tenant advice service rather than direct contact with those who have been aggressive or avoidant. If fear or sleeplessness stays heavy, talking with a trusted counselor or pastor in person can be a helpful next support alongside prayer.

Father, we bring our brother to You in Jesus' name. Thank You for keeping him through danger. We ask for Your protection and peace over him now, for wisdom for each next step, and for clarity where there has been confusion. Work gently in the hearts of all involved, that truth would be seen and hardness would give way to honesty and responsibility. Guard him and give him rest in Your care. Amen.

Your testimony of preservation through a life threatening danger calls for thanksgiving, and your present distress calls for earnest prayer. We have heard your request and we bring it before the Lord who sees all things in secret and who alone knows what is in the hearts of men.

It is right to give thanks that the Lord delivered you out of that peril in the rented apartment. As it is written, many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. What you describe reminds us that God grants protection to the persecuted and provides an escape from the most perilous exposure, and full often the darkest conspiracy is brought to the direst confusion. When the waters of affliction have covered all the earth, then the soul flies back to its ark and finds rest for the sole of its foot in Christ. The severe treatment you endured can become, by the Lord's wonderful counsel, a salutary discipline to make you disgusted with any false trust and to draw you nearer to the Rock who alone is your solace.

We do not know with certainty what was done in that apartment or what motives lay behind it, for only God searches the heart. It would be wrong to pronounce judgment upon men where God alone can judge, and it would be wrong to speak falsehood against any person. Yet we know that the Lord loves truth and justice, for He lays justice to the line and righteousness to the plummet, and He must do right as the Judge of all the earth. If wrong has been done through tampering or deceit or slander, we pray that the truth will be made manifest in His time and by His means, not for vengeance which belongs to the Lord, but that righteousness may be exemplified and that all may see His hand.

We pray for you, that the Lord would keep you from fear and from an unsettled spirit, that He would guard your mind and your dwelling, and that you would rest in the mercy of God which endures forever. May you be able to bring your faith to God's tribunal and say with a true heart sprinkled from an evil conscience, Thy mercy, O Lord, is my hope. May you know more deeply that apart from Christ there is no acceptable refuge, but by Him you may draw near with full assurance, trusting in His efficacious blood which alone can hide transgressions from view.

We pray also for the landlord and for the woman who accused you, and for the residents of that house. We do not pray that God would bless any falsehood or hardness, but that He would do what only He can do, to take away the heart of stone and give a heart of flesh. Except a man be born again from above he cannot see the kingdom of God, and no heart is purified apart from the purifying operations of the Holy Ghost. So we ask the Holy Spirit to work conviction where there has been lying or evasion, to bring each soul to acknowledge guilt before God, for no convinced sinner will rail at God's justice but will smite upon his breast and confess. We pray that if responsibility needs to be taken, it will be taken, and if restitution is due, it will be made, not merely before men but before the Lord who requires truth in the inward parts.

We pray that the Lord would break hardness, that He would cause each person involved to hear His call and to submit to Him, and that they would find that perfection and righteousness which is not in ourselves, for every tear and sigh confesses imperfection, but which is to be found only in the Lord Jesus Christ, who kept the law in every jot and tittle and wove a righteousness which covers the sinner from head to foot. May all who are concerned be brought to that old fashioned Gospel in its simplicity, to confess sin and to be cleansed from all unrighteousness, for He is faithful and just to forgive.

We ask the Lord to vindicate His justice in the highest way, as it was vindicated at the cross where justice and mercy met, and to grant you wisdom to walk prudently. If you remain in fear for your safety, seek the proper lawful help that God has ordained for protection, and continue to commit your cause to Him who judges righteously.

May the Lord keep you, establish you in peace, and cause His truth to shine, and may His will be done in all these things for His glory and for the good of every soul.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request has been heard and we have prayed over it with care. We thank God with you that He delivered you from that dangerous dwelling and that you are now safe. The Lord indeed sees affliction and keeps those who trust in Him, as you quoted from Psalm 34, and we join you in giving thanks for His protection.

We also hear the distress that remains. To live under the fear that someone entered your home, to be confronted suddenly with loud accusations about things you did not do, and to feel that those responsible show no remorse, is a heavy burden. It is right to bring this before God and to ask Him to reveal the truth, for only He knows what is in every heart.

At the same time Scripture warns us to be careful with suspicion. Judgments are often formed upon suspicion, yet the ancient law says that a matter shall be established at the mouth of two or three witnesses. An accusation, even when it feels certain to us, should not be received or judged hastily, because false accusation harms the one who speaks it even more than the one spoken against, and every idle word will be accounted for. This does not mean your fear is not real, but it means we must leave hidden things to God and not settle in our hearts what has not been proven. If a crime was committed, if wiring was tampered with or safety devices were disabled, that is a serious matter for lawful investigation, not only for prayer. If you have not already done so, keep any evidence you have, write down dates and facts, and if you remain in danger or have reason to believe your life is threatened, seek the help of the proper authorities while continuing to pray.

We will pray as you asked, that the Holy Spirit would work in all involved. We pray that hardness of heart would be broken and that each person would be given a heart of flesh to hear God, to speak truthfully, and to take responsibility where responsibility is due. We pray for the residents of that house, for the woman who accused you, and for the landlord who avoids you, not with a desire for revenge but as Christ commands us to pray for those who have opposed us. We ask God to make the truth plain. If wrong was done, we ask Him to expose it in His time and through rightful means. If accusations against you are false, we ask Him to clear your name and to guard you from further harm. We pray that envy, false accusation, and plotting, which make life bitter and full of fear, would be put to rest, and that justice and peace, which make all people more secure and sociable, would prevail.

We also exhort you not to seek out further confrontation. Do not lightly cast yourself into danger when there is no need. It is prudent not to throw oneself upon trials, and noble to bear patiently those that God allows, trusting Him rather than pursuing needless strife. Keep your distance where you can, guard your peace, and commit your cause to the Judge who judges righteously. He will repay, and He will deliver.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we thank You for delivering our brother from bodily harm and for keeping him to this day. You see all that has happened in secret and in public, and nothing is hidden from Your eyes. We ask You to reveal what is true and to conceal what is false. Protect him from all evil and from every plan of harm, and give him quiet sleep without fear. Touch the hearts of the landlord and of all the residents of that house, that they may love truth, turn from lying, and do what is right. Soften what is hard, and grant repentance where repentance is needed. Forgive us all our sins, and teach us to forgive as we have been forgiven, while still seeking what is just and orderly. Lead us away from rash judgment and idle words, and establish our steps in virtue, which even now brings freedom from anxiety and strife. We ask this trusting in Your mercy and justice, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

We will continue to remember you before the Lord, that He would keep you in perfect safety, give you wisdom for every next step, and let you live in the peace that comes from a clear conscience before Him.

Thank you for sharing what you have been carrying. It is understandable that you feel shaken after living with a dangerous electrical condition, sensing that someone may have entered your apartment, and now being confronted with angry accusations about something you say you did not do. God sees all of this, and He knows the truth about every heart and every hidden action when we do not.

It is right that you thank God for delivering you from that apartment. The psalm you quoted is true. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. He is a protector and He keeps His own. At the same time your heavenly Father loves you and His plan for your life is far better than any plan you could make for yourself. The safest and best thing any of us can do is to yield our own plans and fears completely to Him and trust Him to lead us step by step.

Jesus said He is the way, the truth, and the life. That means truth is not an abstract idea, it is found in Him. Only He can bring what is hidden into the light in His perfect time and way. You are right to ask God to show the truth, and to leave judgment in His hands. He is against deception and false witness, and one day every person will give an account to Him. Our part is to seek Him and to walk in honesty and wisdom.

There is also the pain of being falsely accused. Scripture shows this is not new. Faithful servants of God have been called by false names and charged with things they did not do. When that happens, wisdom cries out for us to seek understanding as we would seek for hidden treasure. The beginning of that wisdom is the fear of the Lord, a reverent desire to know Him and to please Him. As you seek Him, He will give you knowledge and understanding for how to live and how to respond.

Part of that response is love. The clearest evidence that the Spirit of God is at work in us is love for one another. That love is not a feeling that keeps a record of wrongs and looks for payback. It is a giving love that does not keep an account. Apart from the power of God in our lives we cannot love this way, especially toward those who have hurt us or frightened us. Only through His Spirit can we pray sincerely for those who accuse us and do good to them as we would want done to us.

This does not mean that wrongs do not matter or that responsibility should be avoided. It is right to pray that hardness of heart would be broken and that those involved would have a soft heart that hears God, turns from what is false, and takes responsibility where it is due. God can touch a hard heart and bring repentance. Pray for that, and also pray that you would be kept from being mastered by fear, suspicion, or bitterness, which can take the place of God in our hearts if we let them.

If you continue to feel physically unsafe, please also take wise and lawful steps to protect yourself, keep a careful record of what has happened, and seek help from the proper authorities who are appointed to investigate such matters. Trusting God and acting with prudence go together.

Above all, remember that without Jesus Christ there is no hope of eternal life. It is only through complete reliance on Him that we have peace with God, forgiveness of sin, and the gift of eternal life. He died for the ungodly while we were without strength, and He rose so that we might no longer live centered on ourselves but centered on God. He wants not just a place in your life but the whole of your life yielded to Him. That God centered life brings life and peace even in the midst of affliction.

Let us pray together.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come to You for our brother who has been through fear and danger and now carries the burden of accusations and unanswered questions. Thank You for delivering him from that apartment and for protecting him again when he was accused. You know the truth about the electrical danger, about who entered where, about what was done and why. Nothing is hidden from You. We ask that You would bring the truth into the light in Your way and Your time.

We ask that You would guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus and free him from tormenting fear. Fill him with Your love and peace. Give him wisdom to walk in righteousness, to live an honest, pure and wholesome life before You, and to know Your plan which is good and kind toward him.

We pray for the former landlord and for the woman and the other residents of that house. Touch their hearts. Take away the heart of stone and give a heart of flesh that hears Your voice, hates what is false, loves truth, and is willing to repent and take responsibility. Bring them to the knowledge that true life is only in Jesus Christ, and draw them to trust in Him alone for salvation. Help my brother to love them with Your love, not keeping a record of wrongs, and to overcome evil with good through Your power.

We trust You as the way, the truth, and the life. Keep all who trust in You. In Jesus name, Amen.
