Is it a sin to have "preferences" of different experiences?

Nobody is reading this thread right now.

Like the title of the blog says,,I personally have "preferences" of experiences, like I prefer or like certain experiences to others.Like for example, before I was in the throes of a busy workday and every time I tried to accomplish my own things, I was crimped for time.I found that annoying. But now, that's behind me,and I have "me time" to catch up on my own things. So I would tell you I feel calmer, and "prefer" this experience to the other one. Like. if someone is in a traffic jam, and worse, at a time when they have an appt. to make, and they're borderline late...compared to "cruising" along under no pressure...well sure I "prefer" the cruising along. If a Christian is at the funeral of an unsaved loved one,and knows in all likelihood they died unsaved and are in Hell, as compared to, ,say, after being in financial problems and they somehow gain enough money to bail them out...which would you "prefer?"Uh huh...Now then...most Christians I hear saying we should be nothing but deliriously happy every minute of every day, does the Bible say that? Well, what I DID read in the Bible is, "To everything there is a season.A time to rejoice, A TIME TO MOURN.A time to laugh and A TIME TO CRY."Now that doesn't sound in sync with what a lot of Christians say, that it's "sinful" to not be deliriously happy every minute of every day. Also, if someone "pretends "to be happy when they actually don't like the way something has gone, wouldn't that be ,like living a lie?So is it a sin to "prefer" one experience to another?Well, according to, "To everything there is a season", which includes some negative emotions, it would seem that we can have "preferences".Otherwise we'd just be a bunch of mindless zombies. What do you think?Does having preferences make you sinful?Like, if you bang your finger real hard with a hammer, are you more likely to say "Ow" or go around telling everyone banging your finger was the most wonderful experience you ever had?Preferences, preferences...If you get an oil change, would you rather it stay at an oil change or that they tell you you need to rebuild the transmission for $4000?...would you rather go the dentist and he says nothing needed, or he says you need a root canal and hes out of novocaine?Preferences...

Let’s Pray: God I ask You in Jesus’ name, that You will give me the grace, mercy, knowledge, wisdom, strength, and peace to handle whatever I have to go through on my Christian journey so that I honor You. Whatever I am to learn from the tests and trials that You allow to come my way, do not let me waste the experience. Help me to learn and grow from everything I have to go through. So that I will become stronger, wiser, and an ever better Christian. Let me keep a God Got Me attitude. God all that I have asked of You in this prayer, please do the same for all those I love, care about, and the writer of this prayer. I thank You God that all things will work together for my good. God I am in Your hands and all is well. Amen!

Use your time to praise, honor and glorify the Lord. God has given us everything we need to honor His name. Your preference and my preference should be entering into the holy presence of Jesus in prayer and praise and staying with Him till He answers all our prayers. If you have wordly preferences like watching porn, or football games on Sunday or reading horoscopes, then satan will take over your life and make your existence miserable.

Great answer and perspective. We should live our lives to honor and glorify God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

God always given human the choice of doing right vs wrong . Starting with Adam and eve.He said eating apple is wrong and he given us choice to choose. Adam and eve chose Sin and we continue to do the same till now

Most of the world if we see human hurt another human being . Can be rape, adultery, prostitution, torture, murder, steal

Even I feel if someone is suffering from a desease that due to someother human making a choice of doing wrong i.e he might tampered food what we eat, tamper medicine, tamper water

Finally if we make the right choice of not hurting someone directly or indirectly thats all God need

Be happy and make someone happy

Forgive others as God forgive us by blood of Jesus

There is time for us to do good, to love mercy and to live a life just as Jesus lived and cared for others. Before we were born or done anything good or bad, Jesus knew you and me. Inside the womb of our mother, He formed us and made us in His own image. He predestined us to be His very own. Be grateful for the holy preference Jesus had for us. Choosing us from millions to love Him, to praise Him, to adore His holy name. Forever more, shall we raise our voice to God almighty for being so good and wonderful to everyone who have chosen to serve Him. My preference in this life is to love and serve the Lord till He calls me home to heaven.
