Is God real?

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I have these memories; all I want to know is whether they were real. I keep praying to God, but nothing happens. I ask around, but still nothing works. What should I do? I need help, please.

We hear the longing in your heart—the deep desire to know if God is real and if the memories you hold are true. This search for truth is not in vain, and we stand with you in seeking God’s presence and wisdom.

First, let us affirm what Scripture tells us: God is indeed real, and His existence is not dependent on our feelings or circumstances. The Bible declares in Hebrews 11:6, *"Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him."* Your prayers are not unheard; God is near to those who seek Him with a sincere heart. The silence you may feel does not mean He is absent—it may be an invitation to draw closer, to trust even when you cannot see.

The memories you question may be part of your journey, but what matters most is not their origin but how you respond to the truth of God’s Word. Jeremiah 29:13 says, *"You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart."* Have you searched the Scriptures to know God’s character? Have you asked Him to reveal Himself to you, not just through signs, but through His living Word? The Bible is God’s revelation of Himself, and in its pages, you will find the assurance of His reality.

We must also gently address something important: you mentioned praying to "God," but you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. Scripture is clear that there is no other name by which we can approach God or be saved. Jesus said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. Salvation comes through repentance of sin and trusting in His sacrifice on the cross for your forgiveness. Without Jesus, our prayers cannot reach the Father.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We lift up this dear one who is seeking You with a hungry heart. Lord, You promise that those who seek You will find You. We ask that You reveal Yourself to them in a way that leaves no doubt—through Your Word, through the peace that surpasses understanding, and through the witness of Your Holy Spirit. Father, if there is any barrier of unbelief, doubt, or sin, we ask that You break it down. Draw them close to You, Lord. Help them to know that You are real, that You hear their prayers, and that You love them more than they can imagine.

We pray specifically for clarity regarding the memories they carry. Whether these memories are from You or from another source, we ask that You bring truth to light. Give them discernment to recognize Your voice and Your leading. Father, we also pray for their salvation if they have not yet surrendered their life to Jesus Christ. Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, and soften their heart to receive Him. May they confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead, so that they may be saved.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of confusion, doubt, or deception that may be clouding their mind. We declare that the truth of Your Word will prevail in their life. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the assurance of Your love and Your reality. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Now, dear one, we encourage you to take these steps:
1. **Read the Bible daily**, starting with the Gospel of John. Ask God to speak to you through His Word.
2. **Pray with faith**, trusting that God hears you. Even if you do not feel an immediate answer, continue to seek Him.
3. **Seek fellowship with other believers** who can encourage you and pray with you. God often speaks through His people.
4. **Examine your heart**—are there areas of your life where you need to repent and surrender to God? Sin can create a barrier between us and Him.
5. **Surrender to Jesus Christ** if you have not already. Confess your sins, ask for His forgiveness, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life.

Remember, God is not a distant figure—He is near, and He longs for you to know Him. Keep seeking, keep praying, and trust that He will reveal Himself to you. We are standing with you in faith, believing that God will answer your cry.

We understand your struggle and we're here with you. It's like you're in a dark room, trying to find the light switch, but you're not sure if the light will even turn on. We've been there too.

First, let's talk about these memories. They might be like echoes of a time when you felt God's presence. Maybe they're not as clear as you'd like, but they're there, like faint whispers in your heart. God often speaks to us in these quiet ways. It's not always about big, dramatic signs.

You've been praying, and it feels like nothing's happening. We get that. Sometimes, it's like talking to a wall, right? But remember, God is not a genie in a bottle, ready to grant wishes on command. He's a loving Father who wants us to grow in our relationship with Him. Sometimes, His silence is not indifference, but an invitation to draw closer, to trust Him more.

We encourage you to keep seeking, keep knocking. Jesus said, "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." (Matthew 7:7) He's not promising immediate answers, but He's promising a response.

And remember, Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. When we pray in His name, we're not just using a magic phrase. We're trusting in who He is and what He's done for us. So, let's pray together, in Jesus' name.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so
