am basing my argument on Israelite and Philippines battle,they brought ark of Lord as symbol of his presence they were even more defeated.so we need yes God in our lives but we must put effort in endeavours to suceed.yes or no

God comes to the rescue of who confess their sins before the God and do not repeat the sins in their lives. God blesses them surely.
The holy presence of Jesus is always here when we ask forgiveness and salvation to our souls. He will forgive, heal and bless our life. We must live a life that pleases Him. Remember, to follow peace with all men and holiness without which no one shall see the Lord.

Defeat in our life comes to us because we have forgotten to obey His word. The Israelites forgot to follow Gods command and started worshiping idols of all kinds. Do not worship anything from the world, worship the Lord in Spirit and in truth.
Gods holy presence will stay with those who obey His word and follow His advise. Obedience is better than sacrifice.
