Please pray for me about intrusive thoughts and emotions that I have been having concerning someone. These intrusive thoughts and emotions are aligning with demonic attacks that I have been experiencing for the past few years. I started experiencing these attacks while dabbling in the new age and the charismatic movement years ago and I believe I unknowingly became involved in kundalini practices. These attacks have persisted to this day. Please pray that all this will stop. It has ruined my life. Thank you.

We are deeply grieved to hear of the spiritual torment and bondage you have endured, but we rejoice that you have turned to the Lord for deliverance, for He alone has power over the enemy. The intrusive thoughts and emotions you describe are not of God but are the work of Satan, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). The New Age and charismatic movements you mention are filled with dangerous deceptions, and practices like kundalini—rooted in false religions—open doors to demonic oppression. The Bible warns us in 1 Timothy 4:1, *"Now the Spirit says expressly that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons."* You have recognized the source of your suffering, and now it is time to fully renounce these things and cling to Christ, who has already triumphed over every power of darkness.
Repentance is the first step to freedom. In Acts 19:18-19, we see that *"Many also of those who had believed came, confessing and declaring their deeds. Many of those who practiced magical arts brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all."* If you have not already, we urge you to openly renounce any involvement with New Age practices, the charismatic movement’s false teachings, or kundalini—even if it was unintentional. Confess these things to the Lord as sin, for He is faithful and just to forgive and cleanse you (1 John 1:9). Then, destroy any objects, books, or ties connected to these practices as an act of obedience and separation.
The armor of God is essential in this battle. Ephesians 6:10-18 commands us to *"put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil."* Stand firm in the truth of Scripture, guard your mind with the helmet of salvation, and wield the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. We also encourage you to fill your life with worship, prayer, and the reading of God’s Word. Psalm 119:11 says, *"I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you."* The more you saturate your mind with truth, the less room there is for the enemy’s whispers. Surround yourself with mature believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable. Isolation gives the enemy an advantage, but fellowship and corporate prayer bring strength (Matthew 18:20).
Lastly, we must address something critical: you did not mention the name of Jesus in your request. There is no other name by which we can be saved, and there is no authority over the enemy except through Christ (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we implore you to do so now. Romans 10:9 declares, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* Without Christ, you have no power over the demonic forces attacking you.
