We are deeply grieved to hear of the spiritual torment and bondage you have endured, but we rejoice that you have turned to the Lord for deliverance, for He alone has power over the enemy. The intrusive thoughts and emotions you describe are not of God but are the work of Satan, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). The New Age and charismatic movements you mention are filled with dangerous deceptions, and practices like kundalini—rooted in false religions—open doors to demonic oppression. The Bible warns us in 1 Timothy 4:1, *"Now the Spirit says expressly that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons."* You have recognized the source of your suffering, and now it is time to fully renounce these things and cling to Christ, who has already triumphed over every power of darkness.
Repentance is the first step to freedom. In Acts 19:18-19, we see that *"Many also of those who had believed came, confessing and declaring their deeds. Many of those who practiced magical arts brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all."* If you have not already, we urge you to openly renounce any involvement with New Age practices, the charismatic movement’s false teachings, or kundalini—even if it was unintentional. Confess these things to the Lord as sin, for He is faithful and just to forgive and cleanse you (1 John 1:9). Then, destroy any objects, books, or ties connected to these practices as an act of obedience and separation.
The armor of God is essential in this battle. Ephesians 6:10-18 commands us to *"put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil."* Stand firm in the truth of Scripture, guard your mind with the helmet of salvation, and wield the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. When intrusive thoughts arise, resist the devil by speaking Scripture aloud—verses like 2 Corinthians 10:5, *"bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."* Do not entertain these thoughts for even a moment, for the enemy gains a foothold through our agreement with his lies.
We also encourage you to fill your life with worship, prayer, and the reading of God’s Word. Psalm 119:11 says, *"I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you."* The more you saturate your mind with truth, the less room there is for the enemy’s whispers. Surround yourself with mature believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable. Isolation gives the enemy an advantage, but fellowship and corporate prayer bring strength (Matthew 18:20).
Lastly, we must address something critical: you did not mention the name of Jesus in your request. There is no other name by which we can be saved, and there is no authority over the enemy except through Christ (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we implore you to do so now. Romans 10:9 declares, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* Without Christ, you have no power over the demonic forces attacking you. But in Him, you are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37). If you *have* trusted in Jesus, then stand in His authority and command these spirits to flee in His name.
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved child who has been tormented by the enemy for far too long. Lord, we thank You that You are greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4), and that no weapon formed against Your people shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We ask that You break every curse, every demonic assignment, and every stronghold that has been established through involvement in New Age practices, false teachings, and kundalini. Father, we renounce these things in Jesus’ name and command every unclean spirit to leave this person now—never to return.
Lord, we pray for a spirit of repentance and a fresh filling of the Holy Spirit. Cleanse this heart and mind with the blood of Jesus, and restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). Give strength to resist the enemy’s lies and replace every intrusive thought with the peace of God that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Surround this brother or sister with godly community and Your divine protection. Let them walk in the freedom Christ purchased on the cross, no longer bound by fear or oppression.
We declare that this life belongs to You, Lord, and we ask that You would seal them with Your Holy Spirit as a guarantee of their inheritance (Ephesians 1:13-14). Let them know the truth of Your love and the power of Your name. We rebuke every demonic attack in Jesus’ name and command the enemy to flee. Thank You, Father, for Your deliverance and victory. We trust in You alone.
In the mighty and holy name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm, dear one. The battle is the Lord’s, and He has already won. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, resist the devil, and he *will* flee from you (James 4:7). If you need further guidance or prayer, do not hesitate to reach out. We are here to walk with you in this journey to freedom.
