We join you in gratitude for the opportunity God has provided through this interview. It is right to acknowledge that every good gift comes from Him, and we trust that He is working all things together for your good as you seek to honor Him in your work.
Father, we lift up this situation before You, asking that You would indeed remind the hiring team of the skills, qualifications, and godly character You have developed in this dear one. May they see not just a candidate, but a person of integrity, diligence, and excellence—traits that reflect Your nature. We pray that if this role is Your will, doors would open effortlessly, and if it is not, that You would close them gently and redirect to something even better.
We also ask for an extra measure of patience during this waiting period. The world often values instant results, but You call us to trust in Your perfect timing. Strengthen this heart to rest in Your sovereignty, knowing that Your plans are always for welfare and not for evil, to give a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
Help them to find joy regardless of the outcome, for true joy is not found in circumstances but in Christ alone. May they be reminded that their worth is not defined by a job title but by their identity as Your beloved child. We pray they would walk in contentment, whether in plenty or in want, for they can do all things through Christ who strengthens them (Philippians 4:11-13).
Lord, we also ask that You would guard their heart against anxiety or discouragement. Let them cast all their cares upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). If disappointment comes, may it drive them deeper into dependence on You, and if celebration comes, may it lead them to praise You for Your faithfulness.
We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Above all, we pray that whatever the outcome, You would be glorified. May this season be used to draw them closer to You, to refine their faith, and to prepare them for the next step in Your perfect plan. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
