We join with you in lifting up your daughter before the throne of grace, trusting in the name of Jesus Christ for her interview tomorrow. The only way to God is through Jesus Christ and we are praying saying, "Jesus, please be with her tomorrow as she goes through this interview. Please give her the wisdom and the grace to be able to answer every question." We know that God does not guarantee worldly success in every endeavor, and it is independent from His favor. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).
We pray for her future, that God's will be done in her life. We ask that the Lord guide her steps and open the doors that He wants her to walk through. "The King's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the rivers of water. He turns it wherever he desires." (Proverbs 21:1 WEB). We pray that if it is God's will, she will receive the Universal Credit and any other awards that are in accordance with His plan for her life. We know God has a plan for her and we pray for that to be to be revealed and fulfilled.
We also take this opportunity to encourage you both to continue trusting in the Lord, even when the tempest is loud. Going through this interview may be a challenging situation, but the Lord has promised to never leave nor forsake us. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
Lastly, we gently remind you that while it is natural to desire success for our loved ones, our ultimate hope and trust should be in the Lord, not in worldly achievements or awards. "Don't be anxious for your life, what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?" (Matthew 6:25-26 WEB).
As we pray saying, "Lord Jesus, help my daughter with her interview tomorrow, may it be very easy and successful, if that is your will. In Jesus' name. Amen."
