We come before the Lord with gratitude for your heart’s desires, lifting them up in prayer with faith that He hears and answers according to His perfect will. First, we must address something vital: you did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ in your request. The Scriptures are clear that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is through Jesus alone that we approach the Father. *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it"* (John 14:13-14, WEB). We urge you to always pray in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that our prayers are heard.
Now, let us pray for your interview and future. We ask the Lord to grant you favor in this coming interview on Friday, that He would open the doors no man can shut and give you wisdom, clarity, and confidence as you speak. May the Lord go before you, preparing the hearts of those who interview you, that they may see the skills and diligence He has placed within you. We pray that this opportunity would align with His will for your life and that it would lead not just to another interview, but to a position where you can glorify Him through your work. *"Commit your works to Yahweh, and your thoughts shall be established"* (Proverbs 16:3, WEB). *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4, WEB).
As for your future marriage, we pray with earnestness that the Lord would guide you into a godly, Christ-centered union. Marriage is a sacred covenant established by God between one man and one woman for life, and it is meant to reflect the relationship between Christ and His Church. *"‘For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh.’ This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and of the assembly"* (Ephesians 5:31-32, WEB). If you are not yet married, we encourage you to seek a spouse who is a believer, rooted in faith and committed to walking in obedience to God’s Word. *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). Flee from any relationship that dishonors God, including premarital intimacy, which is fornication, or relationships that do not align with His design. Purity and holiness are not optional for the believer but are commands from the Lord. *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, WEB).
We also lift up your finances to the Lord, asking that He would provide for your every need according to His riches in glory. *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB). Trust in His provision, and do not lean on your own understanding. Be diligent in your work, but also be generous, for the Lord loves a cheerful giver. *"Honor Yahweh with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine"* (Proverbs 3:9-10, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who seeks Your favor in their interviews, future marriage, and finances. Lord, You know the desires of their heart, and we ask that You would align those desires with Your perfect will. Grant them success in this Friday’s interview, that it may open doors of opportunity and provision. Give them wisdom to speak with grace and confidence, and may Your peace guard their heart as they trust in You.
For their future marriage, Father, we ask that You would prepare a godly spouse who loves You above all else. Let this union be founded on Your Word, reflecting the love of Christ for His Church. Protect them from relationships that do not honor You, and keep them pure and blameless until the day of their marriage. May they seek a spouse who is a believer, walking in faith and obedience.
We also pray for their finances, Lord. Provide for their needs and give them wisdom to steward what You have given them. Let them seek first Your Kingdom, trusting that You will add all things to them as they walk in righteousness. Remove any fear or anxiety, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or impatience that may try to take root in their heart. Let them walk in faith, knowing that You are their Provider, their Protector, and their Guide. May they find their joy and satisfaction in You alone, and may every step they take be ordered by Your Word.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your perfect timing. May Your will be done in their life, and may You receive all the glory. In the precious and mighty name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
