We hear your cry of Interrupt in Jesus' name and we stand in agreement with you before the throne of grace, for we know there is power in that name and authority when we ask according to the will of God.
We thank you for invoking the name of Jesus, because it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. As it is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it John 14:13-14. We also remember Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow Philippians 2:9-10. Your brief request reminds us that we are not using His name as an empty phrase, but coming in faith, in submission to His lordship and His perfect will, for This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us 1 John 5:14.

Your brief cry in the name of Jesus has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the throne of grace. There is no attribute more comforting to the child of God than Divine Sovereignty, for we know that the Lord reigns and His hand is in everything, and what He does is right and wise and kind.
We are taught that divine interpositions come in the way of deliverance from floods of trouble. Not always by miracle, but by providence full of wonder, the Lord steps in to rescue His people, to restrain evil, to interrupt the designs of the enemy and to make a way where there seemed no way. When we pray Interrupt in Jesus Name, we are asking the Sovereign Lord to stay the hand of harm, to break the power of sin, and to manifest His presence, for the Divine Presence is the one hope of the people of God.
Therefore we pray for you now that the Lord in His sovereign wisdom would interrupt whatever is not of Him and would establish what is holy and good according to His will. We ask that He would guard you from all that would lead away from Christ, that He would deliver your soul from death and your feet from falling, and that His divine Spirit would work in you all that is pleasing in His sight. We pray that you would know salvation through Jesus Christ alone, who suffered in the sinner's stead and whose atoning blood alone can cleanse, and that you would walk in the way of holiness which He loves, trusting not in our own will but in His will which is more than a match for all opposition.
If there is any path or relationship or purpose in your life that does not accord with the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman and the purity to which God calls His people, we do not ask God to bless it, but we ask Him to graciously interrupt it and to lead you into that which honors Him and brings true peace to your soul. And whatever affliction or temptation presses upon you, may the Lord in mercy interrupt its power and give you victory through our Lord Jesus Christ, whose victory is sure because it is secured by a Divine promise.
May you continue to seek Him and to rest in His Divine gentleness and grace, knowing that He who has begun a good work will perfect it. We will keep praying that you will see His hand clearly and be kept close to Christ.
