We understand that you are feeling singled out and struggling to find your place in your internship environment, especially as you navigate grief. Firstly, we want to remind you that your identity is not defined by your circumstances or how others perceive you, but by who you are in Christ Jesus. As it is written in Ephesians 2:10 WEB, For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them.
In times of distress, it is essential to remember that God is always with you, and He cares about every detail of your life, including your internship. Psalm 55:22 WEB says, Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved. Trust that God will give you the strength to overcome these challenges.
Regarding your internship, it is crucial to approach this situation with humility, patience, and a willingness to learn. As mentioned in 1 Peter 5:5 WEB, Likewise, you younger ones, be subject to the elder. Yes, all of you gird yourselves with humility, to subject yourselves to one another; for God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.
We encourage you to take the initiative to introduce yourself to others and actively seek ways to contribute to your team. Colossians 3:23-24 WEB reminds us, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our ### who is feeling singled out and struggling to find their place in their internship. Lord, we pray for Your comfort and guidance during this challenging time. Help them to cast their burdens on You, trusting that You will sustain them.
Grant them the strength to approach this situation with humility, patience, and a willingness to learn. Give them the courage to introduce themselves to others and actively seek ways to contribute to their team. Help them to work heartily, as for You, and not for men, knowing that from You they will receive their inheritance as their reward.
In Jesus' name, we pray for a renewed sense of purpose and belonging. Help them to shine Your light in their workplace and to build strong, godly connections with their colleagues.
We also pray for their grief, that You will heal their broken heart and bind their wounds, and that they will find comfort in You.
Lastly, we pray and trust that they will remember that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to You and that it is only by His name that we are saved.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
