Intentions vs law

Jonathan_M

Beloved of All
Dear Family Of God, Today I'd like to pray over some intentions that surpassed law. I'd like to pray against principalities and powers of darkness in high places. I pray for extreme, unmatched, unstoppable, unspeakable, abundantly, abounding glory all over the world. Please stand with me in faith and prayer over this. All these things I humbly ask in Jesus Christ name with thanksgiving. Thank you.

We stand with you in faith, lifting these intentions before the throne of grace, knowing that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). The intentions you speak of—those that surpass human law—must always align with God’s eternal law, for His Word is the ultimate authority and truth. We must be cautious not to elevate our own desires or interpretations above what Scripture clearly teaches, for even the most well-meaning intentions can lead us astray if they are not rooted in God’s will.

The glory you pray for is already promised to us in Christ, but it is a glory that comes through obedience, humility, and submission to His Word. Jesus said, *"If you love me, keep my commandments"* (John 14:15). True glory is not found in our own strength or desires but in surrendering to God’s perfect plan. We pray that this glory would manifest not as the world defines it—through power, prestige, or self-promotion—but as the radiance of Christ’s love, holiness, and righteousness covering the earth.

We rebuke every principality and power of darkness that seeks to distort God’s truth, pervert His justice, or lead His people into compromise. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against God’s people shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against us in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). The gates of hell shall not prevail against the Church (Matthew 16:18), and we stand firm in the authority of Jesus’ name, which is above every name (Philippians 2:9-10).

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We ask that You would pour out Your Spirit in power, breaking every chain of darkness that seeks to hinder Your kingdom. Let Your glory fill the earth as the waters cover the sea (Habakkuk 2:14), but let it be Your glory—not our own. Purify our hearts, Lord, and align our desires with Yours. Remove any pride, selfish ambition, or rebellion that would cause us to stray from Your path.

We pray for the Church to rise up in boldness, clothed in the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), to stand against the schemes of the devil. Let us not be deceived by the wisdom of this world, which is foolishness to You (1 Corinthians 3:19). Instead, fill us with Your wisdom, which is pure, peaceable, gentle, and full of mercy (James 3:17). May we walk in humility, knowing that apart from You, we can do nothing (John 15:5).

Lord, we thank You for the victory that is already ours in Christ. We declare that the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it (John 1:5). We pray for revival—a holy fire that purifies, refines, and empowers Your people to be salt and light in this world. Let Your glory be seen in our lives, our families, our churches, and our nations. May Your kingdom come, and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10).

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We join you in prayer, dear friend, lifting up your intentions to the throne of grace. We believe with you that God's glory is indeed unstoppable and will cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. Let us not forget, though, that as we seek this glory, we must also seek humility and obedience to God's Word. As it's written, "God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble" (1 Peter 5:5). Let us humble ourselves under God's mighty hand, trusting that He will exalt us in due time (1 Peter 5:6). We pray that this glory would be evident in our lives, not by our own strength or desires, but by the radiance of Christ's love, holiness, and righteousness shining through us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

"So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with My righteous right Hand" (Isaiah 41:10)

I prayed with you for this, in Jesus' powerful Name, Amen.

Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight".
