Insurance blessing

Beloved of All
Jesus I love you. Thank you for your sacrifice. I come praying about this mold damage in my home. I discovered mold in my home 3 days before I was leaving for a vacation. I had to get my bathroom shower demolished with my master closet. It was found that my builder didn't build the shower properly and water went into my master closet causing water damage and mold. I lost my belongings and my insurance adjuster ### is making everything a terrible process. My builder hasn't been helpful. My home warranty people will not answer the phone. My insurance is giving a low ball amount and trying not to pay for plumbing. I lost my contents in my closet because of mold and water damage only for insurance to try not to pay for anything. My water and electric bill are high from all of the dehumidifier, dryers, and hepa filter running constantly. My home feels like a construction site. Everyone needs access to my home constantly and I feel so overwhelmed. I spend all day on the phone trying to get my insurance to do their job and then she tells me what they will not pay for. Im exhausted so badly. I didn't cause the issue my builder didn't build my shower correctly. I am worn out and exhausted. I tried to go to warranty and was unsuccessful. I can't keep chasing people all day. Please father let ### quit giving me the bare minimum for everything. She doesn't return phone calls and makes me call her constantly when she knows. I need to get this work done. I am having to sleep in another place in the house because my room, bathroom, and closet are unlivable. I needed a vacation so badly and school is about to start. Now trying to get money for my kids school clothes and supplies. Please bless me with all the funding for everything. I am feeling so tired.

We hear your cry, dear sister in Christ, and we lift you up before the throne of grace with heavy hearts. The weight of this trial is crushing, mold creeping into your home, the betrayal of shoddy craftsmanship, the relentless battle with insurance, the exhaustion of endless phone calls, and the disruption of your peace. You did not cause this, yet you bear the burden of its fallout, and that is unjust. But we serve a God who sees every detail of your suffering and promises to be your refuge in the storm. "The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18)

First, we must rebuke the spirit of frustration and delay that has taken root in this situation. The enemy seeks to wear you down with bureaucracy, half-truths, and neglect, but we declare in Jesus’ name that every ungodly obstacle standing between you and restoration will be removed. "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is from Me," says the LORD. (Isaiah 54:17) We command every uncooperative adjuster, every unresponsive warranty company, and every negligent builder to be held accountable before the Lord. Let their delays be exposed, and let justice roll down like waters (Amos 5:24).

We also pray for supernatural provision over your finances. The enemy would love to see you drown in unexpected bills, water, electricity, school supplies, repairs, but God is your Provider. "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19) We ask the Lord to open the floodgates of heaven over your home. May the insurance company release every penny owed to you without further resistance. May unexpected blessings come to cover the gaps, gift cards for school supplies, a neighbor offering to help with repairs, or even a financial breakthrough you haven’t yet imagined. We declare that your children will not lack what they need for school, and your home will be restored beyond what was lost.

For your weariness, we pray for divine rest. You are carrying a weight that was never meant for you alone. "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28) Jesus sees how exhausted you are, and He invites you to lay this burden at His feet. We ask the Holy Spirit to refresh your spirit, renew your strength, and give you wisdom for each step. You do not have to chase down every phone call alone, God will send helpers, advocates, and even legal or financial guidance if needed. We declare that your home will no longer feel like a construction zone but a sanctuary of peace.

We also want to gently encourage you to guard your heart against bitterness. It is understandable to feel anger toward those who have failed you, but bitterness only poisons the soul. "See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springs up to cause trouble, and by it many become defiled." (Hebrews 12:15) Instead, release these people and companies to God’s justice. Trust that He will fight for you while you rest in Him.

Finally, we pray for your physical and emotional well-being. The stress of this situation is taking a toll, but God promises to sustain you. "Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved." (Psalm 55:22) May He give you moments of joy even in the midst of chaos, a laugh with your children, a peaceful night’s sleep, or a reminder of His faithfulness in the past.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister, lifting up every broken piece of this situation to You. Lord, You see the mold, the water damage, the financial strain, and the exhaustion she carries. You know the names of every person who has failed her, and we ask that You would move on her behalf. Break the chains of delay, Father. Let the insurance company release what is rightfully hers. Let the builder be held accountable. Let the warranty company answer her calls. Provide for her every need, school supplies, repairs, and peace of mind.

We rebuke the spirit of frustration and declare that this situation will turn around for her good. Give her wisdom in every conversation, strength for each day, and rest for her weary soul. Surround her with people who will help carry this burden. Restore her home, Lord, and let it be a place of joy again.

We thank You for Your faithfulness, for You are a God who restores what has been lost and redeems what has been broken. We trust You to work all things together for her good, as You have promised in Your Word. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We’ve been carrying you in our hearts since reading what you’re walking through, and we just want you to know you’re not alone in this. The sheer weight of it all, the damage, the lost belongings, the endless phone calls that go nowhere, the noise and chaos of your own home, and on top of it all, trying to get your kids ready for school, would leave anyone feeling hollowed out and exhausted. You haven’t done anything wrong, and yet you’ve been left to fight for what’s right, and that is deeply draining.

When stress is this relentless and we can’t escape the situation, our minds and bodies eventually signal that they need recovery. The constant hyperarousal you’re describing, being always on, always chasing, always interrupted, can make it nearly impossible to think clearly or find peace. So any small, intentional break you can carve out is not a luxury; it’s a way to keep going without shattering. Even fifteen minutes where you aren’t managing the crisis, sitting outside, stepping into a quiet room at a friend’s house, turning off the phone, can help reset your nervous system just enough to face the next call.

Practically, you mentioned you’re spending all day on the phone. Is there one person you trust, a family member, a neighbor, someone from church, who could take over some of those calls for you, or at least sit with you while you make them? Sometimes just having a calm advocate or even a note-taker by your side makes the insurance process feel less like a battle you’re fighting alone. If the adjuster remains unresponsive, you have every right to ask for a supervisor; that isn’t being difficult, it’s being persistent in a situation where you’ve been treated unfairly.

We’re asking God to bring relief in concrete ways: for the adjuster to act with fairness and timeliness, for the builder and warranty company to take responsibility, for the funds needed to restore your home and provide for your children, and for moments of real rest for your soul.

Father, in Jesus’ name, we lift up this weary mom. You see the injustice and the exhaustion. Please open doors that have been shut, move hearts of those in authority, and provide abundantly for every need, repairs, school supplies, and all that has been lost. Give her wisdom and the help of people who can lighten the load. Renew her strength, and let her sense Your nearness in the chaos. Amen.

It is a heavy trial, indeed, when the very place that should be your refuge becomes a source of distress. The Lord permits these sharp afflictions to come into our homes, not to crush us, but to drive us nearer to Himself. He who went about doing good is still the tender Friend of the burdened, and He knows every corner where the mold has spread and every unjust word spoken by the adjuster. Cast this care entirely upon Him. Tell Him plainly what you have told me: the sleeplessness, the exhaustion, the injustice. He is not wearied with your complaint; He invites you to press the matter home with earnest, repeated supplication, like Daniel, who did not cease pleading until the answer came.

You ask for funding and fairness. I would rather bid you seek something higher: grace to endure and a heart so stayed on God that the clamour of these bills and battles does not rob you of your peace. Does that seem hard? It is a home-question, my friend: are you trusting in the adjuster’s cheque, or in Him who has already given you the unspeakable gift of His Son? He who spared not His own blood to cleanse you from a far deeper stain will not abandon you now. Use every proper means; make your calls, press your claim, and then leave the issue with the Lord. He can turn the heart of that stone-cold adjuster in a moment, for the hearts of all men are in His hand.

Do not forget that even in this wreckage, there is a home-mission for your own soul. When the workmen are gone and the dehumidifiers hum in the night, let those sounds drive you to the closet of prayer. There plead that this trial may be sanctified, that your children may see in you a sweet submission to the Father’s will, and that in due time you may go back into that restored room with a tongue fluent in praise. The Lord often delays the lighter cargo that we may come home with the heavier freight of mercy. Your high water and electric bills are small installments on the eternal weight of glory that is being worked out in you.

Bear up, then, with holy courage. The Master Himself knew weariness and had not where to lay His head, yet He went about doing good. You can do good right where you are, even in a house that feels like a construction site. A patient, trusting spirit before your family and those who tramp in and out will preach louder than many sermons. Continue in prayer, put your hand to whatever duty lies nearest, and wait on the Lord with quiet expectation. He will hear, He will act, and in His own time He will bring you out into a wealthy place.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You are exhausted and overwhelmed, and it is no wonder, for you have been surrounded by the negligence of men and the slow cruelty of broken systems. The builder did not build rightly; the warranty hides in silence; the adjuster gives the bare minimum and will not return your calls. Your home is a construction site, your rest is stolen, and the needs of your children press upon you. This is a heavy weight, and I do not dismiss it. But listen carefully, for there is a use even for the fire that burns within you now.

There is a kind of anger that is pure and useful, not for avenging yourself, but for checking others in their lawless freaks and forcing them to attend in their negligence. Paul burned with it against the Corinthians and delivered them from a great pest. That same holy impatience you feel, when you see adjusters acting as men-pleasers, giving eye-service only, doing nothing when they think no one watches, can become a goad for justice. Pursue this matter not with vengeance, but with a steady, righteous insistence. Let your complaint be known, not screamed in wrath, but spoken firmly and repeatedly, as unto the Lord who sees all. For God scatters the bones of men-pleasers, and those who serve only the eyes of men will find their foundation rot.

Yet while you press your case, take the greatest care that this trial does not make you ferocious or implacable in your own soul. The disorder of the world comes when love grows cold, when even natural affection is abandoned, and men become unmerciful. Do not let endless phone calls and insurance deceptions turn your heart to stone. You have lost belongings; you sleep in another part of the house; the bills mount high. This is real suffering. But do not despair of yourself or of God’s provision. Even if you feel dyed to the very substance of your soul by this weariness and frustration, repentance and trust can make you white as snow again. God can wash away the stain of this season from your spirit.

In all your dealings, remember that you serve a Master who is not blind. The adjuster may act as though no eye sees her negligence, but the sleepless Eye of God is upon her, and upon you for your good. Do your part with singleness of heart: be honest, thorough, and diligent, but do not make yourself a slave to the process. Your better part, your soul, is free. The service you render here, fighting for what is just, providing for your children, is for a season. Subject yourself to the labor, but not as a men-pleaser acting only when watched. Fear God instead, and let that fear drive out the exhaustion that comes from seeking human approval alone.

And take this to heart: the builder has more honor than the house, yet He who built all things is God. Your true house is not a structure of wood and drywall, but the people of God, and you are of that household. The One who constructed all will not abandon what is His. If an earthly builder’s failure caused this rot, how much more will the divine Builder restore and make new? You did not cause this disaster, but God can use it to teach your husband and children to delight in modesty and perseverance, not in mere outward ease. Your attire of character, now being tested, can become a garment of tried faith.

So gather your strength. Make your calls, press your claims, but do so as one who has taken refuge in the hope set before you. Abraham obtained the promise after patient endurance, and his promise was sure because God, willing to show it, swore by Himself. Your needs, for school clothes, for funding, for a habitable home, are not too small for His notice. The same God who endured to have unworthy things said of Him so that He might persuade men will surely attend to your cries. Do not let the adjuster’s low-ball offers convince you that God’s provision is stingy. She may give the bare legal minimum, but the Father gives abundantly.

Rest your weariness in this: the work of restoration has already begun in you, even if the walls remain stripped. You are being made white as wool.
