Beloved
šŸ™‡šŸ» Father, thank You that "The Best King of Israel inquired of the Lord," and "You said," 1 Sam 23:2, "told him," 1 Sam 30:7-8, "answered," 2 Sam 2:1, "replied," 2 Sam 5:19, and, "said" 2 Sam 5:23, each time... He was 5 for 5 in inquiries to answers, Lord, 100%, Old Covenant. How much more now, with unveiled face, 2 Cor 3:18, and Your Word and a much Greater Covenant Heb 8:6, Lk 22:20, and fullness of Kingdom in The Holy Spirit, Matt 11:11?

Jesus, You said "My sheep hear My voice," John 10:27, "we'll never follow a stranger," John 10:5. You tell us which way to go. We ask to be filled with knowledge of Your Will with wisdom and understanding so we can walk in the way that pleases you, Col 1:9-10, for reward diligent seeking, Heb 11:6, and fervent prayers avail much, James 5:17. So lead us, so we can "follow You," walk in confident trust, we already trust who You are, and we'll do what You say and follow wherever You lead, "so we walk by faith," 2 Cor 5:17, and gladly do so, Ps 103:20...

Praying we all are graciously strengthened to pray and not lose heart, Luke 18:1. Grace to remain in love and praying neither my faith nor her faith will fail, and afterwards we strengthen others, Luke 22:31-32. I ask for prayers from the church that Jesus builds that the gates of hell will not prevail against, Matt 16:18, to resist the devil with me, James 4:7, resisting him firmly in the faith, 1 Pet 5:8. Strengthen me with power to know the dimensions of CHRIST'S LOVE, Eph 3:16-20. Holy Spirit remind her, me and all of us of Jesus' Truth, John 14:26, John 17:17, Thank You in advance for moving mountains, Mk 11:23-24, in Jesus' Name.

We come before the Lord with hearts full of expectation, rejoicing in the truth that our God is a God who speaks, who answers, and who leads His children with perfect wisdom and love. You have reminded us of King David’s example, how he inquired of the Lord and received clear direction, not once but five times, under the Old Covenant. How much more, then, should we expect to hear His voice under the New Covenant, where we have the indwelling Holy Spirit, the completed Word of God, and the full revelation of Christ? We stand in awe of the privilege we have to approach the throne of grace with boldness, as Hebrews 4:16 declares: "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need."

Lord, we lift up this dear brother who has come seeking Your face, desiring to hear Your voice and walk in Your will. We echo his prayer, asking that You fill him, and all of us, with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that we may walk in a manner worthy of You, fully pleasing You in every good work, as Colossians 1:9-10 instructs. You have promised that Your sheep hear Your voice, and we declare that truth over this situation. Jesus said in John 10:27, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me." We reject the lies of the enemy that would cause doubt or confusion. The enemy may come as a stranger, but we will not follow him, for we know the voice of our Shepherd.

We also take hold of the promise in James 5:16, which tells us that "the insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." Therefore, we pray with fervency and faith, believing that God is moving even now to answer. We ask that You strengthen this brother with power through Your Spirit in his inner being, so that Christ may dwell in his heart through faith, and that he may be rooted and grounded in love, able to comprehend the breadth, length, height, and depth of Christ’s love, as Ephesians 3:16-19 describes. May he know this love that surpasses knowledge, so that he may be filled with all the fullness of God.

We also lift up the one he is praying for, this sister in Christ, and ask that You would remind her of Your truth, just as Jesus promised the Holy Spirit would do in John 14:26: "But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you." May she walk in the truth of Your Word, which is truth itself (John 17:17), and may she be strengthened to stand firm in faith, even as the enemy prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). We resist him, standing firm in the faith, knowing that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

We also take this moment to encourage this brother, and all who read this, to press on in prayer without losing heart, just as Luke 18:1 instructs. The parable of the persistent widow reminds us that God hears the cries of His children, and He will bring justice speedily to those who cry out to Him day and night. We declare that the gates of hell will not prevail against the church that Jesus is building (Matthew 16:18), and we stand together in unity to resist the devil, knowing that he must flee when we submit to God and resist him (James 4:7).

Father, we thank You for the mountains You are moving even now. We believe in the power of faith, as Jesus said in Mark 11:23-24: "For most certainly I tell you, whoever may tell this mountain, ā€˜Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and doesn’t doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is happening; he shall have whatever he says. Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them." We receive this promise by faith, trusting that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

We also want to gently remind this brother, and all who seek God’s will, that walking in obedience to Christ’s voice requires a heart fully surrendered to Him. If there are areas in his life or in the life of the one he is praying for that are not aligned with Your Word, we ask that You bring conviction, repentance, and transformation. The enemy often seeks to deceive and distract, but we stand on the truth that Your Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). May both of them walk in holiness, purity, and righteousness, for without holiness, no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14).

Finally, we want to commend this brother for his faith and his desire to seek God’s will above all else. It is a beautiful thing to see a man who is not leaning on his own understanding but is acknowledging God in all his ways, trusting that He will direct his paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). We pray that You would continue to draw him closer to Your heart, that he may know You more deeply and love You more fully. May he be a man after Your own heart, like David, who sought You with all his being.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name, the only Name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. We come to You, Father, only through the finished work of Your Son, Jesus, who tore the veil and gave us direct access to Your throne. We thank You for the blood of Jesus that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24), and we stand in that grace, covered by His righteousness.

Lord, we ask that You would pour out Your Spirit in power upon this brother and the one he is praying for. May they both experience a fresh infilling of Your presence, a renewed passion for Your Word, and a deepening intimacy with You. May they walk in the fullness of what You have for them, not settling for anything less than Your best. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that every assignment of the enemy is dismantled in Jesus’ name.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust You to answer according to Your perfect will, in Your perfect timing, and for Your glory. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done in this situation, on earth as it is in heaven. We give You all the praise, honor, and glory, now and forevermore. Amen.

We’ve been praying for you, brother, and it’s so encouraging to see your heart seeking God’s voice like David did, with such hunger and expectancy. It reminds us of how personally God speaks to His own, like Jesus promised in John 10:27, ā€œMy sheep hear my voice.ā€ We’re holding onto that promise for you and the one you’re praying for, believing God’s Spirit is already at work, making His will clear.

There’s something beautiful in how you’re asking for wisdom and direction, just like Solomon did. We know God delights in giving good gifts to His children who ask with faith (Matthew 7:11). So we trust that as you press in, He’s already answering, maybe not in the way we expect, but in the way that’s best for you.

We’re also praying against any doubt or confusion the enemy might try to plant. The devil loves to whisper, ā€œDid God really say?ā€ but we know the truth, He’s faithful to guide us. Would you let us pray with you right now? Heavenly Father, thank You that You’re drawing us closer, speaking louder than the noise around us. Strengthen our faith to hear clearly, to trust completely, and to walk confidently in the path You’ve set before us. May Your peace guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
